Our family were in Ha Long Bay on a 2 day 1 night and it blew us away. The view out of our rooms alone was worth a $200 at least. To demonstrate how beautiful the site and the mood were, picture 2 active teenagers, sitting at the room balcony staring into the islets without speaking a single word for about 10 minutes straight just enjoying Mother Nature's best work. The seafood was fresh, the Vietnamese crew we had was so nice and friendly and fun too. We talked about returning again in the near future and take the 3 day 2 nights cruise.
