👍😎Glad to see you're one of the few youtube channels that doesn't take this too seriously where it 's not life or death if you get the likes and subscriptions. Still love the Nintendo Wii to this day and the Wii U even though it gets some undeserved flak I feel. A little sad that the era of the Wii/PS3/Xbox 360 was the last console gen where when you bought a game on a disc the game was actually on the game without the need to download a day one patch.
Oh thanks my friend! Yeah I’m just having fun, I can’t do the “ring the bell” and all that lol. And yeah same, Wii and Wii U I think when the games are done right (and there are quite a bit) it’s pure joy and brilliant! It is sad, that’s why I play my older consoles more than ever….nothing worse than finally getting to play and there is a stupid giant update so I can have a new camo suit with a pink gun lol, well something like that. Dude, I have so much love for the Wii. Still have my day one OG hooked up and we play it all the time. It’s a party machine. My 75 year old mother in law still comes over and wants to play Wii bowling, which to me is just amazing. I honestly never even really branched out it with besides the Letterbomb hack and playing snes games on it haha. But yea, I’ve had the Wii hooked up since it came out and it just has a magic to it that anyone can pick it up and have a blast with it in a party setting. I honestly don’t dabble much besides Wii Sports, Sports resort, and Wario Warez. But it never gets old! It’s always fun and it’s so accessible to pick up and play with anybody on those basic sports games! Anyway, Glad to be along for the ride! Been following Retro Rob for a while. I think I’ve gone through 2 Facebook shutdowns haha. Be well Rob! You really post the best stuff. It’s rare to get a “genuine” or “real” from anything on TH-cam or Facebook or whatever these days.

@@retrobeliever a sweet game(s)that we play alot is the Tiger woods PGA tour games. The golf is fun, but the Disc Golf option is fire. We still play it in the winter when we can’t go disc golfing lol. Still holds up after all these years
Discovered a few games from this list! Ridea the Sky Soldier, and Battalion Wars 2. I had no idea there was a sequel to Battalion Wars. It also reinforced the idea that I need to get Dead Space Extraction! Awesome video my guy.
Dead Space Extraction IS fantastic! I definitely wasn’t expecting it to on par with Umbrella Chronicles, if not better is some ways. My favorite part of Sonic Colors is actually the soundtrack! And a weird thing is that you can earn Super Sonic, but it’s not really as fun because you can’t use any of the Sprite powers. Learning there are TWO Battalion Wars that I’ve missed makes me sad. “…and his hair!” Haha, classic Rob. Sin & Punishment is somehow the most fun I’ve had being terrible at a game. There’s just so much adrenaline-pumping spectacle every second and everything is explodable. MadWorld is a fun sandbox brawler, with some interesting boss challenges like in No More Heroes. I can finally set up some of my old consoles again and I should play through this one. Thanks for sharing!

Another excellent video, Rob! 🤘🏻 I was never a huge fan of the Nintendo Wii. I thought the motion controls were a little gimmick at times. A lot of games tend to use the motion controls more than they really needed to. But these are some excellent choices! 🤘🏻🇺🇸🦅🤘🏻

Dead space extraction is awesome! The game gets a lot better with better weapons and more action later on, it's actually quite a long game for a lightgun game. It's the only dead space game I have ever played so far, but I love it. 🤘🎮🕹🍻

These are definitely some good picks for the wii. I own some of these games you reviewed like knights into dreams, rodeao, sin and punishment and sonic colors. The wii seems to have alot of hidden gems. The gun games are one of the best to play on the wii. I remember getting the system back when it first came out and most stores rarely had them in stock. I happened to luck out when i found a gamestop that still had them available. Nowadays i just use my wii u to play my wii games. Im still looking for more hidden gems to buy for the wii

I remember being absolutely mind blown when I first saw the trailer for the Wii. I should try a Nights game one day, I've never understood the appeal just from looking at footage so it'd be interesting to see if it makes more sense to me when I actually play it. I got a Wii when I bought my Wii U. 😉 I quicky got arcade Super Hang-on before the Wii shop was taken down so have a Wii U with Super Hang-on, ultra rare lol. The indy game was new to me! Tempting, although control wise I'm used to Emperor's Tomb on xbox so might feel a bit held back, maybe. Indy Lego on Wii is cool, I have that. That SNK collection was nice, never seen thst before either! Cheets Rob! 😎👍

I really have been enjoying my Wii a bit more this year. Picked up the Goldeneye 007 (didn't realize it was a remaster of the N64 one) Madworld is on the list to pick up this weekend. So many good titles in the $10 to $50 dollar range to pickup. Anyways, thanks for the vid Rob!
Another great vid! I burned out on the waggle early in the Wii's life, especially after the Wii U came out. I dove into the PS3 w both feet, so i missed most of the "other" games besides Nintendo games. Glad you put this out as I'm not familiar w most of these games. I had a Wii growing up! first console i ever owned, played Sonic Colors back then, still my favorite Sonic game. Very cool to hear about some games i hadn't heard of before and seeing different perspectives on these games is fun, good content dude!
Never heard of SIn and Punishment! Definitely gonna have to play those games somehow. Also I second Madworld. It's a fantastic game. One of the few Wii games I've actually played all the way through.
The Wii was mocked pretty hard a few years after it ended production but the console has received a nice reappraisal recently. It’s all about getting the right games for it. A bit off topic Rob but have you played the Duck Tales remaster on Wii U/PS3/Xbox 360? It got a physical release.
Yeah I had no idea what to expect from it when it came out, I quickly loved it though and would later get the Wii U which was mocked even harder lol! And yes, I have it on the Wii U and 360….I love that remaster my friend!
Rodea is a game I made sure to pick up because it looks fantastic. I'd love to sit down to it someday. Always on board for a good collection, especially with quality games like what SNK offers. I picked up Sonic Colors because it looked so promising; I really need to give it a go too, though I think our kiddo played a good deal of it. Rob loves Indy--star-crossed lovers confirmed! lol Mad World was such a unique games--loved the fun visual and it was so different from what was expected to be seen on a Nintendo console.
Rodea is a solid game and utilizes the Wii controls perfectly! I do love Indy (Sighs) And yes Sonic Colors was done very well, I was surprised for sure….and yeah Nintendo…blood…no codes?!? Lol

@@retrobeliever Rob, what would be funnier? If I managed to take apart a broken Wii, repurposed the console case, inside put the working mechanics of an RC car with small wheels, build R2-D2's legs, stand the Wii upright and apply R2 decals... I could make the R2-D2 R.O.B
Sin and Punishment is so fun! That's become one we'll start and just pass the controller between all 5 of us. Andy and I slept outside our Target to buy our Wii, about 6 weeks after we were married lol if that's not gamer love I don't know what is.
I’ve had a 📺 for the longest time I could use with my Wii but finally replaced it after 12 years and it doesn’t have the right connections to connect it 😢. Unless there is an updated connection cable that I don’t know of, which is very possible
