When it released I always saw my mom, fighting against the awful cancer for nearly a decade, in front of me.
Unfortunately, she didn't win but this song is still a comforting memory of her
Nine years. This is insane. And I still feel like the teenage boy who invaded a stranger's garden for the image of falling snow (only to find out that it looked like shit on video). The candle was on my stepmom's advent wreath.
This song has its story for me.... Its one of my favorite song but i never thought that i would dedicate it o someones close to my heart... Someone i call my bestfriend and a suitor who passed away 4 years ago. He died from accident.. So everytime i listen to this song.. My eyes turns red. I still cried because i always remember him..... He will live forever in my heart.

Awsome song, I asked it to be played in my funeral, played it for my childs funeral and also my dogs. It has become the song for mourning in my family. And i wish to thank the artists for it conveys auch a powerfull feeling
I think I would like this song to be played at my funeral. Besides the fact that I love both Hammerfall and this song I think it would be kind of poetic to play a song released in the same year I was born.

I found this song a week before my dad's death five years ago ( fate, maybe?) he went from heatlhy to sick very fast, in a matter of a month he was gone. that last week was hell as always is on these kind of situations, i knew , even the docs knew his fate but i hold on on the fools hope of that maybe things went better, somehow it felt like the perfect words and chords for what was happening in my head. thanks Hammerfall for put in words and music feelings for we are most time speechless .

At about '73 my country (Greece) was already occupied by it's own millitary during a coup. My father was a red (a communist) and he fought bravely along his brother during the upprising against the junta (17/10/73) so bravely that Russian brothers had pictures of him of that day when it took about 10 cops to beat him down. You see he was a blacksmith since 15... Unfortunatelly my father passed away 6 months ago of cancer... Now i know he's gone to the home of the brave. Father, i look up to you!
