you can get the old vsco theme back by going to your account then preferences then scroll down to where it says display size and hit that until you get the theme you want :)
with vscocam grid you can actually change it back to the original square grid just open the app ++ go to settings++ preferences ++ scroll down to studio ++ size

Don't waste your time making a whole new account to format your feed. The UNUM app works so much better, and allows you to move planned posts around on a grid and make minor edits before it's time to post. Used in conjunction with Apphi, you can plan everything ahead of time with UNUM and then if you won't be available to post during peak hours (found in UNUM), you can schedule a post in Apphi and it will automate the upload, whether your phone is a mile away or you're busy doing something else on it at the same time. Also, download Enlight and Union for editing. You're welcome.

My "hack" for a nicer feed is to have both closeups and photos with more deepness (landscapes, cityscapes...). This just creates a more balanced look than a bunch of visually similar photos. Ofc one can't see this trick when they just scroll down their news feed, but if they ever have a look at your feed, it's so nice!
i just thought about this, Drew, have you noticed any changes on the amount of engangement/likes after turning your account to business? 'Cause on facebook, they intentionally make your post not visible to your followers so you'll pay them to promote your stuffs. . .

Just make sure you clicked "switch to business profile". Basically it's a feature for business accounts.
When you go into only flight mode and try posting a photo on insta, the posting fails and it's not really online but the photo gets saved in your camera roll. So you don't have to sent via direct. Hope that's helpful :)
you should try 'UNUM' it's an app for testing out Instagram feeds instead of making another account (well that's what I use it for). You can switch the photos around without having to delete everything and then post everything again.

If you edit a photo on Instagram, click the back button and it'll ask "save to draft" Click it and when you click the button to upload a photo a section with all of your drafts will come up, also a nice way to see what your feed is going to look like
Now Instagram has the ability to save a draft photo, and you can actually edit a hole bunch of photos keep in draf, and see how well they go together. (Only you can not move them around) I'm already stacked with photos on my saved area. One step less! 😘 @paulabressann

For hack 4, you can save photos with insta edits if you put your phone on airplane mode and click post! It'll save on your phone but won't post on your insta :)
VSCO have never get rid of the grid display at all. If you want it back, just follow these steps: 1. Open the VSCO App 2. Click the Face Icon which is your profile on the right side 3. Go to Settings. It's under your username or beside your display photo. 4. Click Preferences 5. Scroll down and you will see the option "Display Size" 6. Click it until you get to see the square display grid And the square grid is back, you're done! :) Hope it helps!
Hi Drew, thanks for the hacks! I have one question concerning hack 9: Since I have changed from private to business, Instagram turned down my activity limits almost to the limits of a new account. Before the change I was able to push my account a lot lot more. With the change to business, I had to link this account with another Facebook account than my personal, which was linked before. I'm quite sure, that the change of the Facebook account is the reason for cutting my limits. Do you know, how I get back my activity range? Since the change, I almost can't do anything. Concerning the activity limits, nothing really changed so far (2 months). I tried Instagram, but they never answered my questions on this topic. Do you have a solution? THX a lot, cheers Frank
Also I have a IG hack that you should know it by know but if you don't here it is, let's say you want to save your ig pictures to your camera roll, but you dont want people to see it, First you go to IG setting and activate "Save Original Photos" and then Go to your phone setting and activate "Airplane Mode" and that way when you post the picture it will be saved to ur camera roll and nobody will see it..YOU WELCOME 😋❤️ i hope it helps you

I was intrigued about your method of direct messaging an IG photo to a private account or a friend so that you can save/preview the image. I actually do a different way. I turn off my wi-fi or data connectivity before I click share so then it doesn't get uploaded to your feed. It has a temporary post saying that it'll auto-post when there's wi-fi/data. Now, you just have to delete the post before you connect to wi-fi/data again, and the images are already saved to your gallery. I like to do this because sometimes I'm undecided by which filter I like best and can now compare them side by side :P. I think your way is probably faster though.

Actually you can save an Instagram edit by switching off wifi on your phone and then still post the edited pic on Instagram, it will show "failed", the edit won't appear on your Instagram and you still can have the edited pic saved on your phone. I did it everytime. :-)

I could be the 500th person to say this, and you may already know this, but aperture isn't the best term to use at 3:11, due to the fact that aperture deals more with depth of field. Yes, having a large aperture does increase the amount of light in the photo, but the main use of aperture is in correlation to sharpness, or lack there of, of the parts of an image that aren't the focal point. When taking photos with an iPhone, aperture doesn't actually come into play as noticeably due to the structure of the camera and lens of the phone.The term that would better be suited to use in the context of brightness and darkness is exposure, because that's basically what exposure comes down to. Again, I apologize if you already know this info and just made a simple mistake.
The Insights option is only available if you have a business account. To get a business account on Instagram you need to have a business page on Facebook which you can link to your Instagram.
Tipp to your Hack about editing but not wanting to post the picture right away: you can also just turn on "airplane mode" on your phone and click "share" and it'll save the picture back in your camera roll but won't post it on Instagram :)

Tipp to your Hack about editing but not wanting to post the picture right away: you can also just turn on "airplane mode" on your phone and click "share" and it'll save the picture back in your camera roll but won't post it on Instagram :)
