What do you get when you combine 8 string guitars, a little bit of folk dancing, and a bunch of cowbell? The answer of course, is you get boss fight music, assuming the boss is a pastry. Crookie Crumbler is one of the small number of opportunities I get to write original songs for video games and I’m infinitely grateful to be able to do that. But what’s interesting is, as someone who’s done a lot of cover songs, I've found that writing original music is kind of like covering myself. In this video I'll explain why.

I remember being hyped when i played doom and heard mick gordon. Now when I hear GeoffPlaysGuitar in Atomic Heart, I get the same feeling.
Don't forget that Mick Gordon worked in atomic heart ost. They made a great decision in hiring both of them.

Seriously amazing work, it's so great getting to hear your songs in the DLCs, as you said, really giving that Doom inspired music and your own choice of music (and humour) that fits the world and themes so well. And for this DLC specifically you really nailed it, combining the dark robot theme with the crazy fairytale theme. Just wanted to say I love your music so much and I can't wait to see what you make next for DLC 3 and other projects too!

As a Russian infantile in mid 30s I suggest that your 13:36 reminds me of TMNT 1 game from NES (the main theme). Yours drums remind me of the cover of the game's main theme by Vomitron.
Cookie crumbler is the best song in the dlc by far, just like PT-1X12 in the main game. You're doing God's work with these, it's so nice getting more Doom-esque argent metal with different flavors in other videogames.

The chaos and intensity of the song fits so well for the theme. My favorite one of this dlc, makes me feel like I'm going crazy listening to it but in a good way haha

Its an amazing opportunity to go and thank the MANY talents behind Atomic Heart. The LIMBO DLC definitely still weirds me out, but I shall not deny the music is what always made me rock my shoulders back/forth with a dumb grin on my face. Big love to the work that really goes into some tunes keeping things in tune to the previous tracks that define the existing games beat/feel. Will credit that Atomic Heart and ALOT of its music gets a bit of a fun energy going for myself. I appreciate that up/go attitude to things making you feel the game's crazy (and dangerous) world come at you and you'd better stay on your toes!
