Hi Zach! I've been watching your compclimb series videos for a while now and I am impressed by the amount of videos you and Maddie have done during the year! Your channel is the reason I created a youtube account to be able to subscribe and follow your journey and also to support your work and be able to comment! I climb a lot at Rose Bloc and I want to say how impressive it is to see you and all their team members train at the gym and crush their hard boulders. This being said I think the vlog format is nice and you should do it again with other climbers! It is weird for The Spot to have a " sensory sunday " but we can still ear the loud gym music in the background ahah! I remember once being at Rose Bloc really early in the morning when there was a power shortage in the city. since I was the only person in the gym they somehow let me get in anyway and it was a really special mood! kind of dark and really really silent, all you coul ear was my every movement on the walls! I think a calm, empty and silent gym is a great experience to have.

Thanks! Honestly I just climb to warm up- from super easy jug hauls to hard boulders over like 15-20min. It’s because I train so often that’s it’s super easy for my body to warm up! Congratulations about the Unparallelel part. I bought the flagship pro last week. Waiting for shipping. Partly moved from your reviews. UP needs to improve distribution in Europe. Very hard to find them physically in order to try them.
Met Sabrina at Open Nationals in 2022 where she dislocated her ankle. Could tell even from our brief interactions she's a beast and has an incredible mindset about competition. Loved the vlog style!
i know this vids a couple days old, and you might not see this, but ur hypothesis on Meichi's fast walking, I just wanted to inquire if its only the illusion of walking because he's so much taller than the rest, hence longer stride lengths and the feeling of a slower walk?
if we could skip the profanity in the music that would be great so I can watch these with my young kids. love the videos and love the chicken chalk bucket. the chalk bucket is actually being used to collect eggs from the chicken coop but soon it will make it to the climbing gym where it belongs. haha.
Ok I will keep that in mind! I always make sure not to swear in my regular videos because it’s hard to tell what my demographic is sometimes, so I wanted to test the waters here. That being said I would definitely skip the next video (vlog with Matt) because we got a little out of control and the video definitely isn’t pg. Haha nice to hear that the chicken is putting in good work 😎🐔
you kinda have to choose where to look at, when in the middle of a shot. either look at the camera or at the person, but camera, person or the other way around is like you can not focus, which one is the primary target of the said shot:) just thaught.

Interesting, I’ve always found this works well for me in order to “awaken my max power” in a sense. I definitely keep the volume low and have at least 5 days before the comp actually starts. Maddie does her ORM even closer to the comp lol

It could be for sure- good observation! But at the very least when I try to emphasize it on a move like this I find it still helps!
