    I can't emphasize enough how useful the Match Paint tool has been to me. One of the best one in Pyrevit. Basically, you pick whatever surface paint as a source, and then start applying it to other surfaces without using Paint tool.

    _Who Did That?_ - a single button that can change your office dynamics!
    This was a much-needed video for the BIM community - I just learned about _Cycle Types_ despite using pyRevit for 3 years now!

    ‘List Selection as Clickable Links’ is a great tool also, under the Select menu. Thank you for this great video. 🚀👏

    The pyrevit tools i like to use the most are;
    1- copy state / paste state - I use it for transfering 3d section box states between the different files. Yes... It magicly works between files. For example, you select a beam on structural file, go to 3d view with section box. "Copy state" and choose "3D Section box state" (or any other useful view specific state there). Go to architectural file (which doesn't need to be open in the same revit!). "Paste State" and choose again 3D Section Box state again and bam you have the same view on a different file.
    2- "Orient section box to face" orients section box of the current 3d view perfectly to the face of the "aligned" element picked. Only drawback is, it doesnt work on linked elements.
    3- "Orient view to face" orients the current 3d view to perpendicular to the face of the aligned element.

      "Renumber" was also my favorite until i found out automation on renumbering on DiRootsOne is much more practical. (With DiRootsOne you can just rename all the rooms, for example, in almost just one click.)

      @@bimpure yeah this solves a ton of issues. One question. Can i add tools? Custom tools? Or are any additional tools payed for?

    • @bimpure

      @@trowawayacc Yep, you can add custom tools with pyRevit. We actually have a course coming soon to BIM Pure about this: bimpure.com/revit-toolbar

    The smart sync to central does not show on the pyrevit ribbon.
    Can it be hidden?
