Get yourselr a Runpotec cable spinner. Save you tkme uncoiling. Im a fibre engineer from the UK and our health and safety would throw a fit if they saw us have boxes not gate guarded off haha nevermind leaving them unattended open 😂. We dont come across steel poles often but tbeyre hollow over here where cables go inside through the bottom of the pole and up out the top. Good video for newbies though 😊
Great vid man. Question, as a subcontractor when aplling for this job what's the job title, description that it's under ? Underground fiber construction? I'm starting out. Know someone doing it, but cero shed of light. I'd appreciate some guidance.
Hay sorry for late response. Yes apply for underground helper. If u get into aerial construction u will make more money in the end in my opinion. Especially if u know how to climb poles. I know guys making 3-7 k a week as a foreman working production work running a crew. But u need to be able to place 100,00’ in the air.
