yeah it worked up until the restore app notification, wont open the app at all after that, keeps crashing

This does work! just keep in mind that if you dont downgrade, you will not be able to download many of the mods.

how do i change the version of the beat saber, when i use quest patcher it puts me on 1.36 but all the mods are for 1.35?

If Beat Saber is crashing
🛑Do you have Beat Saber 1.35 version and not the legacy version? You can see your game version by launching Beat Saber and checking your right foot print
🛑Was 1.35 selected in the mods download page when you downloaded the core mods?
🛑Uninstall all mods in QuestPatcher. go to Tools and Options. click Repatch app. Install 1.35 core mods.

Could you do one on how to install chroma and/or noodle extension ? I noticed a lot of songs require them.
third time's a charm 😁 installing chroma and noodle is actually the same as installing the core mods. you should see them in the mods download page once they are updated 😄

can you play multiplayer with your frends with this or can you use the beat together mod (on oculus quest 2 standalone )
modding disables the online feature but yeah you can use beat together if there's a compatible version already
When i open the game, it says i cant because it prohibits modding because some privacy policy

no need to downgrade, the latest can be modded! make sure you're on the 1.35 version and not the legacy version when you mod

@@vrstellarrr yea I did but I fixed it, I just downgraded to 1.28 using quest app version switcher because I had a backup of the game there and I loaded the mods on quest patcher
ive done it multiple times and factory reset but the game still wont load. it makes me have to restart my quest 2 just to get out of it

When I try to open my game it keeps on crashing. Like it pops up the box that says open and restore but I can’t even click on either of the options. Then my game closes. I don’t know what’s happening! Can someone help?

I downloaded the mods but when i insert them in questpatcher it says they are for questloader and not for scotland, so i cannot activate the mods

click the dropdown menu in the mods download page and select the 1.35
make sure you delete all existing mods you have first before reinstalling the 1.35 mods, then go to tools and options and click repatch app
then install 1.35 mods

I’m calling out because I really need help. I recently installed mods using this tutorial and it has been great. I decided I would like to return to the original beat saber version. I tried pressing restore. I tried loading a backup. I have successfully uninstalled the mods but I am now at a stage where I am in an old version of beat saber and I can’t update. I am unable to update it from the meta store. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall and I am running out of options. Really need this fixed and I need someone that knows what they are doing to help. Please help me.
is it currently on 1.29? change your version in the meta quest app

for those on 1.36, there's an extra step. you'll have to downgrade first. working on a video at the moment.😉

I FINALLY got it to work. I watched your other video and needed to uninstall questapploaderswitcher, and uninstall and reinstall, repatch my game and it finally worked! But now I'm wondering how to install different sabers lol

make sure your game version and mods are compatible. you can see your game version on your right foot print in game. in the mods download page the latest is usually preselected but there's a dropdown menu at the top that lets you select your game version
