The NECA Alien Vs. Predator Arachnoid Alien figure looks great. The sculpt and paint application are solid. However, its a shame that the peg that's in the left arm ended up breaking. The jaw is crooked for some reason. Despite those two issues, this is still an impressive figure. With that aside, thanks again Spot!
That is one tall alien arachnoid. That sucks that the peg broke off on the one arm. Good thing you had glue Spot. It's a pretty cool looking design for a xenomorph. I'm digging the crest on its noggin. The "peeled" away back part of the dome looks really cool in its smoky translucency. I like the longer spine and shorter protuberances on this xenomorph. The detailing is very good from the spine to the jagged rib cage on up to its bug like dome head. The paint looks great with dark blues and hints of lighter blues on its fingertips and toes and chin spikes. The articulation is pretty decent. An all around great figure. Thanks Spot!
Funny because I have big collections of both but I'm much more of an Alien fan. Every new Alien release gets me really excited. Especially when we get variants of the Queen

What's the quality control like with your guys' Arachnoid? Just asking because mine came in with a busted jaw, a backwards elbow that made my arm break, and a leg that broke the second I tried to move it.
I love the predator more, but I love Alien as well lol.... But as a whole I'm a huge fan of AVP. I absolutely loved the first film, not so much the 2nd film...... The games are really good to and I plan on reading the comics.

Razor claw is the best out of the 3. This figure is very limited on posing due to its hips. Plus this figure has alot of parts on it from the dog alien. I only bought razor claw. This is the weakest out the 3.

i like them both, but predator needs to start using new body sculpys and different weapons. aliens need to like mutate ad have 4 arms and 2 tails. just say from a creative writers point of view.

I got a predator with paint that got super messed up, again from them directly, and later found a bootleg that looked better than the official one I got- it was so botched. I dunno, but I am about to never order a neca product again, as 1 out of every 2 products I get from them seems to have a quality control problem.

It looks like it's using parts from the ALIENS, ALIEN3 and ALIEN RESURRECTION figures. Did neca just rummage through their spare parts bins, and make a new "arachnoid alien" out of scraps, then slap a load of blue paint on it? Won't be getting this, it's awful. Neca's quality control is definitely off here. This reviewer is trying to justify its failings, but I'd be disappointed to be honest.

I disagree. The Chrysalis Alien looks AMAZING. It's like an armored Xenomorph.
Well on the bright side if u didn't glue its arm u can make it look like a Predator ripped it off.
