- Hey Everyone,
Tried to make it interesting but i basically did soto story pretty much the entire time, made some significant progress on the wizards vault unlocks and got my gold up, so this week playing should have more variety, going to be trying to get some new masteries, some key areas unlocked, and maybe even some raids done.

Delete - Firebrand - Great class, too many people don't know how to play the game due to being babysat by FBs for far too long :D
Good stuff! Hmm IBS was my favorite although it got shorted :( , Jormag and Bangar are two of the best characters created! Rytlock and the charr arc so, so damn good. Then core ( massive various biomes +fractals), HoT ( great metas, the first dragons end was so special, PoF was very fun story ( had a god, died + resurrection, and joko good stuff), then Soto, I’ve enjoyed it but … I’m not sure… it’s missing something and I almost forgot about EoD … holy smokes ummm don’t love the sci fi integration, skiffs feel terrible compared to my skimmer, I’m sure I’m forgetting stuff I’ve still got ~ 30 masteries to get to hit cap, they are in EoD so that’s my next replay.
I liked the ibs story tbh I think the long lead times in between patches were the real pain, and dragon response missions were kinda trash but besides that it was good!
@@SilhouetteGaming1 it would have been nice for at least a little primordas section, jormag was awesome! Could have spent a long time with those two dragons. Yep I enjoyed IBS a lot, made me a Charr main for a bit haha
As a noob I stepped into HoT and was destroyed by literally every mob (but especially pocket raptors) which made me rly upgrade my playstyle, then I went to PoF and the 1st cinematic was a visual orgasm 🤩 I felt in love with desert maps, and went absolutely crazy with the LWS4 ones (they're still the best maps and content of the game)
Icebrood was rly fun and kinda refreshing, except the rushed conclusion, but I enjoyed it a lot
Then EoD which was a great disappointment
Now SotO isn't as bad as EoD, and even if it's not as cool as S4, at least it's kind of a new approach

I feel like my content rating will look a bit strage but anyway:
1) fractals+Strikes - easy to find a pug content. What makes it the best is that you are not really get bored by doing the same instances simply because of making it with new group every time...
2) LW4 - masterpiece in story, metas and farming.
3) HOT and EOD Metas
4) SOTO farms
5) IBS
6) LW3
I would say that all other conter is about average so its core game, LW2, PoF maps: dungeons: festivales and other things.
As for the 2nd question i dont really got an opinion here. I really dont like few spvp builds who could about oneshot an oponent with little possible conterplay. I saw reapers, willbenders and deadeyes with that builds but may be it was some bugs that are already fixed.
1. Hmmm . . . personally, I think I'd rate LWS4 as the best, simply for the story and for Kourna, Jahai, and Dragonfall. IBS comes in second, because of the maps and instances. I dislike the HoT maps, but I've done and enjoyed that content the most, so it's probably third. PoF story and mechanics were fun, though I'm not a huge fan of deserts, so I'll rank it in fourth. EoD gets fifth because though the Siege turtle is an absolute /blast/, and though there's no sense of accomplishment like beating Dragon's End Meta for the first time, I haven't particularly enjoyed returning to most of it's other content. SoTO gets sixth, before all the remaining LW seasons (most of which I breezed through and barely remember), because while I was inexpressibly excited at their introduction to the story and the innovations they were making with some gameplay stuff (namely the first encounter with Cerus and Peitha whispering to you throughout Skywatch), I started getting a little bored with the content and maps--I really enjoyed Inner Nayos for a while, and thought the pitch for Convergences was fantastic, but got a little burnt out with how repetitive they were. Wouldn't mind it if they added some different Convergence maps.
2. What a question . . . I'm a Guardian main that hasn't really spent a lot of time with the other classes, which limits my informed selection by a lot, lol. But, assuming it's a "one has to be cut, mitigate the damage control" kind of deal, I'd probably go Willbender; Firebrand is the best support option Guardian has (to my knowledge), and Dragon Hunter is the big damage dealer currently, so I'd rather give up the speed boost to hold onto the DPS, Quickness, and Healing options.
PoF was the best storywise though I hated the desert maps, I love IBS maps although the story was meh, and hot ohh boy at first made me quit the game for 5 years lol, then I came back took the time to unlock the masteries and fell in love with it, and Soto... I bought it a month ago because I fell ill and can't work and had a lot of time on my hands and I can tell that it was a waste of money ... i bought it mostly for the new weapons and so far the only that I enjoyed using are dual maces on my main ranger with untamed, and the fireballs from skyscale... but the craptys(not a misspelling) look like they took other existing assets and strip them of the skin and put some poop over them... hate how those look, and it feels like a downgraded PoF also I tend to fall asleep in convergences for some reason.... and the story felt rushed and generic af the maps suck they look huge but have less content than southsun cove XD
I'm more or less done with soto tbh. There is the savior surrounds achievement and the inner nayos 2 achievement but I'm not sure I can be bothered. Only other item I'd like out of the WV are clovers build template expansions, and the infusion.
I would actually rank soto as a #1 must have now solely bcs of the weapon masteries, otherwise i hate the story. Then propably lws4/3 for gold and legendaries, and pof for great story, i love the maps, and it has mounts too
You actually got somewhat lucky with the Skyscale timing. Searing cauldron has been disabled for the past 2 weeks so the Infusions collection cannot be completed (without paying 100 gold for it). This should (hopefully) be resolved by next patch.
2. Remove Dragonhunter or Spellbreaker. Blocks in PvP are the bane of my existence and DH traps are horrible when chasing a low HP Guardian
Nice, yeah I was working on it a little bit today, I know that HP has been problematic for a minute now.
Delete one spec huh? I guess maybe specter. I’ve played that the least of all other specs.
Rip spectre players. I actually like alac spectre, is it that great? No, but is it fun to play? Eh sometimes.
Due to some health issues, my sleep schedule is crazy most of the time. I’d love to get back into RAIDs and finish my first set of Legendary armor alongside of you, as you work on your set for this account. It’s been over a year since I last played any Raids, but I’m sure I’ll remember how, as soon as I play a few. I have twenty some characters and can easily gear them to any needed build configuration. Will you be streaming your Raid runs?

1.) Expac list is hard to answer for me. I really enjoy the combat and learning new move sets, but every expac re-uses/re-skins most of the same core model skeletons. In terms of combat, HoT has the best combat spike from base game without being annoying. The NPCs stop W keying into you with only auto attacks, and now W key into you with 2-4 skills that can deal good damage. PoF is second on the list because the sounds the forged make when you hit them is satisfying and PoF, like HoT, has new actor models. Not a lot but better than nothing. EoD and SotO are by far the worst for me. EoD enemies are tanky with crazy boons and high health pools. A noticeable amount of mob enemies apply weakness too making power builds feel awful. The constant cringe EoD modern dialog doesn't help. I'd wager 80% or more of SotO is re-skin/re-used content. The first map alone is just vertical slices of the previous expacs on top of making you grind masteries you've already done in HoT/PoF. Sky Watch feels like a playable advertisement to me. The enemies are virtually all re-skins as well. The attacks have a larger AoE or absorb boons or whatever, but it's the same actor models you've been fighting for potentially over a decade. I say fighting but half the time I can't actually see the enemy with how large the text box chats from friendly NPCs are. I agree, if GW2 expacs started with SotO it never would have made it this far.
2.) I'd remove Bladesworn. I loved playing bladesworn with the seemingly limitless play style expression it had on release. So much tech to master and unique ways of combo'ing on top of movement that warrior has never had before was really a treat. Too bad all that tech was patched out, and all the grandmaster traits got turned into the same play style. I'd put Bladesworn down so it doesn't have to be a mindless Unshakeable Mountain spam bot anymore. You can rest in peace Bladesworn :'l

is NA dead in comparison to EU?
Not dead as in playerbase but definitely more exclusive to discords and other things foe instanced content like strike CMs or Raids.

Soto is pretty bad. I'll be covering some highlights of why I think it was unfun in a broader video. But I definitely did not enjoy it as a new player on a newer account nor on my main. I think it did have some highlights but it's definitely pretty bad.
