Finally a proper review by someone, just ordered one for my new home. I am using wyze for now but all they have is 2k only and that too with slower speed and not 360 view.
Bit of late answer, but I use two of those camera for a year, and nothing at all. I set human and car detection, works great. Not even a one false alarm,
@@byrne1916 Your welcome, after 3 months only one false detection - a cat as human detection on full detection sensivity. Not bad at all. If you have more question, ask me.
@@WillyKrK cheers! I'm wondering if I should use their NVR? Different listings claim different sata sizes, would like to run a big drive. I'd also love to be able to run a mix of cameras, maybe throw in one with 20x zoom from a different brand. I'm starting over my CCTV setup so I'm not tied down to anything in particular. Do you run ethernet out to your cameras or just rely on the WiFi?
@@byrne1916 Imou NVR supports only 108p quality. If you have Cruiser 2, their NVR is useless. I personally use Dahua NVR, all cameras by wire and it's work great. If you want to "upgrade" your CCTV system, i would suggest to check Dahua or Hikvision to be honest. Due to lack of products in Imou, i have to switch to Hikvision 😅 I hope that you understand everything. English is not my main language 😅
7:20 I don't know what other brands you've tried, but I haven't found a single one that can't do this, and I've tried quite a few, that's why I'm asking you to specify a single brand that doesn't allow you to see several cameras at the same time? thank you.
It is possible to selectively record during playback of stored SD card event recordings by tapping the video recorder icon whilst viewing the footage. The sections will then be stored in an album on your phone/tablet/pc etc. Snapshots can be saved by tapping the camera icon in the same way. Useful feature for only capturing the important stuff.
@@StusReviewsUK I agree on the subscription prices getting out of control. That is why I purchased a Reolink NVR with POE cameras. A lot of up-front costs that will pay off over time. I have no subscriptions, excellent stability, complete privacy, no false alerts, and a high quality system. I realize that not everyone can install a POE surveillance system but it's the best option if you can. Another great review by Stu!
Love the Reolink POE kit. Annoying how though when using POE NVR you rarely get the more advanced AI/rich notifications… one of the downsides I’ve found from using POE NVR systems

What about during rain or windy conditions - 1000's of
false alarms?

This guy reminds me so much of Jeremy Clarkson.
He's not an arsehole though
You lost me at paying to download my footage from my SD card. Thanks for the video.
Yeah like I said - they need to get a lid on these subscriptions
