JT Emberson I would but the only problem is I haven’t been able to find enough game footage to make highlights for it but if I’m able to find anything I’ll definitely make that video
Talk about disrespectful! Memphis hadn't lost a game in over a year and still wasn't ranked before this game! Memphis has had winning seasons every year since then with 3 different coaches and still can't get any respect!
Christian Keller Houston over Oklahoma? UCF over Auburn? Memphis over UCLA and Ole Miss as far as I remember? Perhaps these teams are very well known for pulling go5 over p5, but they're very essential for representing their conference.
David the Man yup and don't forget UCF's wins over Baylor, @ Penn State, and @ Louisville in 2013. Houston also beat Louisville twice, destroyed Vanderbilt 34-0, and beat a 10 win FSU squad convincingly. Oh and Navy's win over Notre Dame.
but promptly fed him the ball only and average of 3 times per game after this one...dumb coaching if you ask me...in the Navy game he score both our TDS yet....Fuente sat him down half way the 3rd quarter and he never got back in the game...touched the ball I believe 4-5 times that games
TheStickpig Yeah, for some reason I thought this was 2014, but they did have another upset vs Alabama and a sweet sugar bowl win. So I guess 2015 wasn’t that bad
Ole Miss recovered pretty well I'd say. I mean sure, we lost 53-52 in overtime to Arkansas which prevented us from winning the SEC West (Us and Alabama would've both finished 7-1 and we would've had the head-to-head victory over Bama) but we were able to kick Oklahoma State's ass 48-20 in the Sugar Bowl and finished in the Top 10.
6:53 This throw convinced me, in desperate need of a QB, that it was okay to use my first round pick in my dynasty league on Lynch. Probably the worst pick I've made in the 12 years this league has been active.
It's actually really exciting seeing Memphis actually be good for a few years n since I live here, but I thought lynch was gonna be big in the NFL but I guess I was so far from being right
🐾 So, why won't Ole MS play Memphis anymore? ... and the excuse of: out of conference doesn't fly, all teams play out of conference dates. (It is a really odd decision, because both Universities made major income on these games, advertising, attendance, and the local businesses profited largely.) I'm an Alumni of Memphis, there was never a mention of this in the past until this game. We have (W, Tied, Lost several), and (this Memphis Win really must have upset Ole MS). Unless it's a petty issue? 8I can't think of any valid reason. It cost them more than Memphis in profits when the games were in Oxford, the number/attendance is routinely their largest. Local businesses have to miss the income. We have an Outstanding Stadium, and Visiting Teams love to come to Memphis. GO TIGERS !!! 🐾
Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly said it best, "It was man on man and Memphis wanted it more. The best game Memphis has ever played and it took it to beat the Rebs.
I bet that Paxton Lynch guy ended up being a beast in the NFL
Oh wait...
Pro Sports Central can you make a video about Howard vs Unlv it's considered the greatest upset ever
JT Emberson I would but the only problem is I haven’t been able to find enough game footage to make highlights for it but if I’m able to find anything I’ll definitely make that video
Pro Sports Central that's totally fine I couldn't find any footage either bc both teams are really small schools btw it's so cool talking to u
Pro Sports Central I bet that Chad Kelly guy ended up being drafted pretty high
Talk about disrespectful! Memphis hadn't lost a game in over a year and still wasn't ranked before this game! Memphis has had winning seasons every year since then with 3 different coaches and still can't get any respect!
The American Athletic Conference is very underrated. I love Memphis helmets in this game.
David the Man not really underrated
Christian Keller Houston over Oklahoma? UCF over Auburn? Memphis over UCLA and Ole Miss as far as I remember? Perhaps these teams are very well known for pulling go5 over p5, but they're very essential for representing their conference.
David the Man There no better than the mountain west
Christian Keller they're better than the MWC as a whole and have way more marquee victories than the MWC in recent history.
Lmao, I still laugh my ass off at Hugh Freeze going for it on 4th & 2 at his own 35 yard line with less than two minutes left in the half.
I am an Ole Miss fan, and I was at this game. It was an amazing experience, but also one of the most painful games I've ever witnessed.
No it was absolutely fantastic coming from a u of m fan 😂
Damn, Anthony Miller is a beast after the catch!
I'm glad my Bears got him in the draft.
GENERALSPARTAN27 too bad your bears aren’t using him right and your entire offense sucks, especially Trubisky
Someone else should’ve drafted Anthony Miller, Chicago is wasting his talent
This game was crazy everyone and their mom in Memphis was at that game
Honestly, I remember how packed it was
I was there. Was awesome. I’m a UAB fan but they killed our program.
This was the first time Memphis really realized how good Anthony Miller was.
but promptly fed him the ball only and average of 3 times per game after this one...dumb coaching if you ask me...in the Navy game he score both our TDS yet....Fuente sat him down half way the 3rd quarter and he never got back in the game...touched the ball I believe 4-5 times that games
Man there's no way these 2 quarterbacks end up backing up Trevor Simean on the Denver Broncos right? Right?
Big C nah that would just be absurd. I mean maybe if it were a quality NFL QB, but Trevor Simean, no way!
I wish Memphis would go back to those chrome domes. Some of the coolest helmets ive seen.
Lol Ole Miss just was not the same after they were ranked like 3 that season
TheSportsGamer Ole Miss actually recovered pretty well they finished in the top 10 and won the sugar bowl
TheStickpig Yeah, for some reason I thought this was 2014, but they did have another upset vs Alabama and a sweet sugar bowl win. So I guess 2015 wasn’t that bad
Same with 2014 we were #3 but lost two straight games
Ole Miss recovered pretty well I'd say. I mean sure, we lost 53-52 in overtime to Arkansas which prevented us from winning the SEC West (Us and Alabama would've both finished 7-1 and we would've had the head-to-head victory over Bama) but we were able to kick Oklahoma State's ass 48-20 in the Sugar Bowl and finished in the Top 10.
No cap Laquon Treadwell, Quincy Adeboyejo, and Cody Core were one of the most fun college football WR trios in my life
I've been trying to forget this game for three years now... But hey, at least those unis we wore were tight.
Yep and Hotty Toddy
Alabama Thanks Memphis For Beating Ole Miss
Milton Butler Alabama id also lucky Arkansas and LSU beat OLE miss too
Christian Keller we didn’t lose to LSU that year we beat the crap out of them
Robert Cascio nvm I thought it was the same year. I think LSU would've played better if they would've beaten Alabama
Memphis Unis and team UNDERRATED
Who's watching this to get hype for tomorrow?
2: the game Illinois state beat northwestern(2016)
ANTHONY MILLER BEAST IN COLLEGE BEAST IN THE NFL
Group of 5 schools beating Power 5 rivals (ie ECU over VT or Colorado State over Colorado) compilation
Spinosaurus1231 good idea
6:53 This throw convinced me, in desperate need of a QB, that it was okay to use my first round pick in my dynasty league on Lynch. Probably the worst pick I've made in the 12 years this league has been active.
Every tiger football season I watch this game! Go tigers!
This game n the smu game are classics
Memphis needs to wear those uniforms and helmet combo against Slo Miss.
Dang this game was in 2015, I remember watching this live..
Alex The Spartan Fan Go Shreve
Before Paxton Lynch was a complete bum...
That means a lot coming from an Armchair QB, lol!! Stupid says, stupid is.
3 weeks away from another match up in the libertybowl. #gotigersgo
I rushed the field after this Paxton Lynch dapped me up, thought i touched a future NFL superstar at the time but still cool
Damn, Memphis got Peyton and Tennessee in 96 too! It must be a family tradition to get upset vs inferior schools! Lol
Memphis Tigers have beat the dad Archie, and both the sons. Lol
Love that Memphis is undefeated against the Mannings. Beat Peyton in 1996 and Eli in this one!
AKA "The Game That Tricked The Broncos Into Thinking Paxton Lynch Was A Good QB"
Started 8-0 finished 9-3 and a loss in a bowl game. This team should have run the table
So is Treadwell ever going to amount to anything in the pros?
Richie Mulbrook good question
Richie Mulbrook he has the size to be great, but idk about everything else
Richie Mulbrook he hasn’t really gotten the chance
Should make a video of Jeremiah masoli beating the arizona wildcats in overtime
I wish LSU could've gotten Memphis's coach Justin Fuente
Christian Keller yea he’s done a pretty good with VT
Pro Sports Central i agree LSU is better off with him than Ed Orgeron
@@marktastic86 yeah Joe Alleva is an idiot everyone in BR wants him gone
how about now?
They gave up 37 to Memphis. Ole miss defense was swiss cheese.
Bro that was a loaded fucking receiving core for Ole Miss. Laquon Treadwell, Quincy Adeboyejo, Cody Core, Damore'ea Stringfellow, and Evan Engram
It's actually really exciting seeing Memphis actually be good for a few years n since I live here, but I thought lynch was gonna be big in the NFL but I guess I was so far from being right
I was there. Was awesome
Two suggestions: the game that cost Michigan state a spot in the 2015 playoff(loss at Nebraska)
Dan Tietjen It didn't cost them the spot though
Jango I bet they wish it did though because they wouldn't have gotten embarrassed by Alabama.
MrKingpin1205 Yeah but it would of been them or Iowa and Bama would have absolutely destroyed Iowa.

GO TIGERS !!! 🐾
How about when NIU beat Bama?
This was the beginning of the reckoning. We beat them again at home a couple years later...... They haven't played us since LOL
F this! Where is the ‘03 game? That was a beautiful thing!
That's so weak, who runs a trick play on the 2nd play of the game ?
The play was run against weak secondary, covering a similar trick play Memphis fell for the previous week.
it really wasnt an upset looking back, half that memphis team went to the nfl
I was at that game I’m very upset
I guess the checks for Ole Miss's players were late that week.
Auburn vs. Mississippi State 2008
Nice
It wasn't an upset. Memphis was better than the Rebels .
Screw that game I remember that 😥 we were doin so good
The game that UCLA sent Texas on a downward spiral (2010)
Or the game that cost Oklahoma a chance at the 2002 National Championship vs Oklahoma State
my poor rebels :(
smu upset over houston?
How about that time ULM beat Bama?
I was there
Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly said it best, "It was man on man and Memphis wanted it more. The best game Memphis has ever played and it took it to beat the Rebs.
Ole miss cheated anyway
Ole Miss was absolutely pathetic in this game
This was the same season Ole Miss beat Bama who won the national championship wasn't it?
Yes, but Ole Miss lost the very next week to Florida as well.
