I am in my early 30s, working for 10 years in retail as full time. Seldom have weekends rest. Now I am opting for part time job with weekend rest for 1 to 2 years. Don't let people decide on what you want to live. Live for yourself.

Never be serious about work, we are just contracted to work on the given task. When company wants to retrench, they wont consider how hard working or loyal you are. So if the company does not pay you adequately, toxic bosses and colleague, long hours. Move on. Likewise, if everything is comfortable for you, its worth staying, because you never know how lousy the next company could be.

Look for job and then resign

None of them in the video resigned immediately. They were looking for new opportunities when they realised they were very unhappy with their current roles. Don't let your responsibilities become your excuse to stay when you could do the same. You could give your kids a better life with a better job. Staying on will just make you bitter about life and everything that "could have been".
