The Chaminade Concertino is one of those pieces that grows on you, and also speaks volumes about one’s skill development! I certainly love it as a teacher ☝️🤓! Also - very fabulous playing!! ❤
I was selected to solo this with my college symphonic band where I was a sophomore music major. Absolutely loved it and this women is playing it beautifully ❤
guys im 14 and my teacher gave this to me. its been 6 months, and ive made close to no progress on the runs. Could I get some tips? Ive been playing for about 5 years btw
I was thinking about learning this for my level 6 nysmaa piece (if you know what that is). I was wondering if it is a reasonable piece for a 10th grader to learn within September to around may while balancing studies?
Please in a italian student and i play the flute and can you play the Allemande of partita in A minor 🎶 Thank you! I play this Song but i broke my finger
Very nice. I've also heard it played a little slower. That way you have a little more leeway to bring out the many nuances within this beautiful piece. Many performances I've heard seem rushed. For me, it's not necessarily about how fast you can play it, but can you also convey what Cecile was conveying? You don't bring out the feeling and emotions if you only think about just playing it fast and hitting all the notes. Remember, it's French romantic.
I don't think it's so much that they're obsessed with it; it's more so that they're expected to practice it and learn it, and it's not an easy piece to "nail" well, so it requires so much effort. I personally got sick of it before I got close to mastering its execution on some of those pesky measures, so I never mastered it. Enough years have gone by now that there's no way I'll ever be a professional flutist, nevermind toot a virtuous rendition of the Chaminade lol
"Let the music sound harder then it is, instead of being harder then it sounds" -Chaminade
gauberts troisieme sonate is like that its so well written
shouldn't it be the opposite? Since making a hard piece sound easy requires skill.
@@Kenji-wv2jr i think you are right except in this piece
this piece is hard but not in the way people think. the fingerwork is fine, but the breath control you need KILLS
Trilling is thrilling

How do you glissando that good?!?!?!?! Like is it a pattern you subdivide or how does it work? It’s been the hardest thing for me in this song fr
Good high register. It's hard to sound good up there. Tough to be in tune up there.
