To be honest, for me it was much better without modal. We don't use text formatting, documents and gifs. So I'd be glad to have an option to choose the old way of posting. For our site it is more simple.

Hi, I am running BuddyBoss platform pro, 1.20 with the buddy boss theme 1.87 and I dont see any features for video or anything besides image upload in the modal. Also are shortcodes allowed to be embedded in activity posts? Specifically H5P content..?
Please go to your WP Dashboard > BuddyBoss > Settings > Media and check if you enabled the option to allow members to upload videos, documents, emoji, animated GIFs in profiles, and activity posts. If everything is enabled and still you don't see anything in the modal, please create a support ticket so our team can check your site. For shortcodes, you need to modify the core files.

I'm liking the new modal design. Much more modern than before. I am creating a community where media is the forefront of activity updates. Threrefore, I would like to hide the textbox and even the activity update header all together and just have the media buttons in the "whats-new-toolbar" open the modal. However, setting the activity update header to "display: none;" also hides it from the modal and doesn't allow the media buttons to open the modal. Is there anyway to do this? I also tried the Post From Anywhere plugin but that doesn't include media upload buttons. TIA.

The new post form is nice on pc, but guys not on mobile phones really it was frustrating. it is very slow in terms of responsiveness, hard to close and typing takes time because first it has to adjust position regarding mobile keyboards ... so please check in once again on mobile phones. thank you
You can tag more users when editing the post - prnt.sc/26kp9jj As you can see on the screenshot and 4:05 of the video, @ icon is still available, you can also directly type @ to bring up the dropdown list of users. If you are pertaining to your activity post likes, we have this built-in functionality already when using BuddyBoss Theme and Platform. It looks like this: prnt.sc/26mtg3p From this screenshot, you will see how many likes a certain post received. If you are not seeing this on your website, please create a support ticket so our team can check your actual site.

@Buddyboss I know this is a toughie but please make an in depth video on how to customize the member cards or even group cards. Im aware that its difficult and way out of your scope bur most BB users and future users will not thank you enough for it 😉

I saw that in many BuddyBoss related forums and Facebook pages users are in some way held back because they dont know where to start or how to do things.....Customization is very important nowadays especially with branding. Thats why I was hoping BuddyBoss might take charge and upload more of this kind of help ;)

There is no shortcode or Elementor widget for Activity Post Form yet. This will require custom work.

Can you make it so when we editing the post, we can tag more users in editing mode? Now we can only tag users when creating post, not when editing.

I see 20 post in activity feed then it loads more, how can I show only 10 ?
