I like the "oh shite" expression when he looks into the Walkman the last time 😂
Same. A fan forever.
Me too! His looks his smirk; he’s so proud of himself that he can say Simon LeBon and it is pretty clever…I play this video a Lot!
The 🧀 was so thick it was good!
Tanya Roberts Bond Girl pasted Away 2021Jan 5th RIP
Congrats to Duran Duran for being in the Class Of 2022 Rock 'N' Roll Hall Of Fame. Well deserved.
Surprised they weren’t inducted earlier
@@Ben-yj8yeI'm not. RRHOF is a bullshit list that only a handful of people actually control that don't base their decisions on criteria like actual talent and musical influence/success.
The fact that U2 got in in the early 2000s and artists like RUSH, Journey, Stevie Nicks, etc only got in within the last decade should be all the evidence anyone needs.
Many artists have been critical of this during their acceptance speeches. If I were up for one I'd probably pull a Maynard James Keenan and just not show up, lol.
@@DesertDuc after looking at their past winners I’d have to agree… they have artists like Madonna inducted, but actual rock bands take years and years.
hell yeah the best 80s
And congrats to Duran Duran for being neither a Duran nor a Duran.... Discuss.🤨
I always loved when bands like these composed songs for movies.. another band that I loved, that did a movie theme song , was Dream Warriors, composed by Dokken and when Mike Reno and Ann Wilson from Heart did the duet, "Almost Paradise" for the movie Footloose.
Who's listening in 2021 ?
Not Me
Me.
I was 7 when this song came out. We really do have flying cameras , it like the predicted the future lol
@@inf1n1 go away bye
it´s in 1984
11 year old video with 4m views and only 38 comments, how is this even possible? I guess people are too dazed by the wonderous hits by duran duran.
All of the previously existing comments were deleted and the ones we see here are new ones.
11 year old? you are an idiot, this video is from the 80s, it can't be less than 30 years
best james bond song
The fact that the lyrics are so tongue-in-cheek ( especially at the end ) makes it all that...oh so much...!!!
No sorry it's good but it's no Licence to kill.
Skyfall is also good
@@martinwillis6334 Actually .. Carly Simon ... Spy Who Loved Me, followed by Sheryl Crow Tomorrow Never dies, followed by Madonna's Die Another Day, followed by Adele's Sky Fall, followed by Gladys Knight's Licence to Kill, followed by Bjork's You Only Live Twice, followed by Nancy Sinatra's Diamond's are Forever, followed by the rest.
Radiohead did a great one that was rejected. It is only available in its entirety on SoundCloud.
Who's still here in 2024 listening to this masterpiece?!
The 80's .....where the guys hair was hotter than the girls!
What?!
They had the best Mullets around.
Love this comment!
@@matthewalexanderlemma8000 Don't ask me why they were called Mullets 😂😂😂😂
And their make up too.
😁😁😁👍🏻
One of the greatest 007 songs ever. So powerful, so Duran Duran, so Bond!
So campy and scandalous sexy too ;)
Surely is

THIS SONG IS 30 YEARS OLD!
I love that people still listen to it.
It's on my ipod and I love to drive to it. :-)
36 years old now bro and yes people are still listening to it, always will 🙏🙏🙏🙏
It's a GREAT drive song!
40 years now!
Timeless song!
Who’s listening in 2024
Special effects were top notch at that time. Great video!
FACT: It was Duran Duran's hair that destroyed the ozone.
More likely it's nick's hairspray that destroyed the ozone
😂😂😊😂😂😊🎼🎤🎸🎹🎵🎶🙋🇵🇹
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
LMAO
he made money with stupid song i can remember shit charts uk ...
3:29 The man with the accordion plays a few tunes of the James Bond theme, nice!
That would be Andy Taylor, Duran Duran's guitarist.
Right here, 2024!
35 years later this song still rocks!!
It sites does.
37 years and it's still a banger
@@rogerakhan74 I agree with you 😎
35 years and this song is better then most of the 2010s and 2020s song combiand.
A very great song a master piece
Uno de los mejores vídeos de Duran Duran, como parte del Soundtrack de la pelicula: A view to a kill con la actuación de Roger Moore como el agente James Bond...
Love this music... ♡
Easily my favourite Bond Theme. Love the dodgy video. Most of the budget spent on hair spray. Absolutely brill.
😹😹😹
🤣🤣🤣🤣
My favourite as well.
1980s have be feather d whole new level of haircare
Got to get fethered
I can either gripe or pray 🙏❤️ get your praise on. 1:16

When Bonds felt like Bonds!
Precisamos de um james bond de verdade !!!
one of the best james bond songs
Definitely, although a-ha's "The Living Daylights" is a close runner-up for me.
'For Your Eyes Only' for me.
Living daylights best bond movie. Still stands today. Immortal Afganistan!
The living daylights is a quality film but this one is my personal favourite
Same
DD's "A View To A Kill" is first on my list, 2nd on my list is: "Living Daylights" from A-Ha and 3rd on my list is: "You Only Live Twice" by Nancy Sinatra🤗
Absolutely the best display of Simon Le Bon's vocal prowess, ever!
His voice is great
wild boys was impressive too
No autotune needed.
@@Tawadeb Sweet Le Bon bon..
@@rune20401 Back when you could tune your auto, set of points, some plugs, some carburetor cleaner, alittle tweaking. A peasant afternoon's chore. Why so many own these old cars today. Iove autotune. But it's kind of a ridiculous comment about a tool with valid uses, and many examples of abuse. He changed the sparkplugs without a ⅚"deepwell socket!! Really!! How special! Mummy's so proud. Yes, she is!!! God bless.
My favorite James Bond theme. Last Bond movie of my favorite of them all Roger Moore. I only later found our we share the same birthday! RIP
Same year, too?
To me it's the last Bond film full stop.
I share mine with Simon
Probably not the best bond film, but who cares it had probably the best bond in sir Roger theme tune by the great Duran Duran and co starring tanya Roberts what's not to like
i always loved how the band infused themselves into the movie. they would have made great cast members, all of them
Unfortunately after the budget was used up for the hairstyles and make up, the remainder of the movie was put on hold... 😁😁
I never understood the hate for the movie, I quite liked it
Talented boys of the New Wave Era.
it would ended up that they got drunk and teach director how to make a movie. or just left to the disco😂
The Same for Wild Boys. mad Max?
Duran Duran are great arrangers
My favorite Duran Duran single. RIP R. Moore! 😢
.....AND Tanya ; (
@@ogam5 And Sean Connery.
We loved them, drove out 4.5 hours each way in a snow storm to see them in Hartford, CT and enjoyed their music then and still do, but when this one was a soundtrack theme song in the James Bond movie, that was even better and even more powerful. Great song and well deserving of a theme song. We loved Duran Duran, even somewhat dressed like them at some point or other and enjoy the time that this music represented, the 80s, the best era in music.
One of the best Bond songs in a less than good Bond film.
It's super-fun, though! Kind of like the 80s in general :))
Perfect song for James Bond movie, Duran Duran
I love how the Goldeneye videogame captured the same vibes and sounds of this song and adapted them into a soundtrack
I played Goldeneye endlessly, one of my best gaming memories by far 👏🏻
Such an underrated band. Written off by many as another pretty boy 80s eurotrash pop outfit.
Who in 2021 still gets EXCITED seeing this video???!!!! OMG take me back!
I’m listening 2024 ! Still Brilliant ! Le Bon Michael In Melbourne
Best Bond song ever
No doubts
