    I drove to Ko Lanta (900 km) in one day and the bike was great, my back and butt were not great but tolerable. The best investment I made in this bike was to add 2cm of foam to the seat. Here in Bangkok we have shops which do this while you wait. Worthy investment since original seat is pretty hard.

    OK...thanks I got it..I paid 6k for the slip on... had to send it back, during shipping a little cosmetic damage, that the mechanic suggested this. Look at a HJC helmet from Paddock. in the price range. cheers.

    any comments on the local replication of slip ons? quality vs name?

      I bought a full system for about 170 dollars (5000 baht) and quality is as you'd expect. There is a little rust here and there but I'm not going to pay 1000 dollars for a pipe :)
