The first time I heard this song, it was on public radio in Sioux Falls, SD. I was locked up in prison, at the time and only had a tiny, clear plastic FM radio, at the time. I would write down in a notepad though, the hook of every good song I'd hear. A year later, in 2013 and looking in that old notepad I saw the lyric "You say you'll never get rid of me" and upon googling that hook, I came upon this song. I forgot about it, from 2015, to now. I can't even remember how this song came back into my head, but I'm grateful

It's crazy how this is such a deep, specific scenario, but just about everyone can relate to it.
The Early November has never gotten the recognition they deserve. Alway been around but never at the forefront. An amazing band and I wish more people would grace their ears.
This is one of those songs you listen to on public transport at the beginning of a new job/study and it defines that whole period of time, making you feel the 'ambience' of that moment in your life all over again as you listen to it years later..

This song is seriously underrated. I haven't heard it until recently on Spotify. It's been out for 10 years! I initially thought it was Ollie Sykes singing. Genius.
The first time I heard this song, it was playing in a store at the mall, I immediately got chills down my back and goose bumps and started to cry.
there is so much emotion poured into this song and his vocals sound so well with the guitar. so far just listening to these guys i love this album but damn this song is so stunning and well done. not to mention the almost groovy feel the snaps add to the music.. i'm a loss for words
i grew up listening to them. started on the ep in 2004 or 2005 im 27 now and look like a man that would never listen to this type of music but i love it more than anything else

Kudos to Ace Enders for not writing the obligatory "Now that the band has reunited, we're going to close our new album with a song about how much I love my wife and have her sing in it song." Granted, his wife sings in this, but it's in no way, shape, or form about the fairytale romantic love so many reunited bands tend to spill out. I love it!

not sure))) check out their earlier albums, their really good. They have a really good DVD out too of "The Rooms Too Cold" an older album.. i think its that one)) but its cool, because it gives you a good feel for each band member.. Hands down my favorite band.

The Early November is not some "emo band" and their lyrics are real..so people should stop complaining about the lyrics, or that there isnt screaming
