thanks for the video. Rock auto is also a good place to buy car parts. This works pretty much the same way as a 1998 Corolla. But you just have to remove the handle mechanism, not the whole panel. I will try this first.
I want to thank you for this video. I just ordered the replacement part for my 2008 Sonata and this video showed me everything I needed to do to replace it myself. Probably took me 20 minutes and that was because I went slow. You just saved me hundreds of dollars.
I don’t know what to do because I can’t open the door at all because both door handles are broke . And I can’t get to the screws on the door panel to get it off
Thanks for the help but why did reattach the wires before you put on the door handle. Wouldn’t have made more sense to replace the handle then the wire
Hey I have a hydai sonata 08. My left interior door handle works fine but the cover has a crack and every time i open i feels like all of it is gonna break off. Is there a way to buy just the cover?
My husband just replaced the interior driver’s side door handle on my 2009 Hyundai Sonata, but now the lock won’t work with my key fob. I have to lock the door manually. It will unlock ok with the key fob. Has anyone run into this problem-and found a solution for it?
