First heard this track back in the 80’s in a dance club in London (I’m American but lived there two decades). I was so goose bumped I walked over to the DJ and asked who she was. What? A Middle Eastern track being played in a let’s-get-intoxicated-and-sweat-our-asses-off disco night club? I was gobsmacked! Her voice, synth bass and melodies were nothing short of exciting. Decades later and I’m still smitten and talking about it.
