Everyone is showing the journey to Grindelwald, which is amazing no doubt. What does one do once you reach the destination? Are there any spots to see within Grindelwald? Do we pack food or are there any restaurants. as it is suppose to be one of the so called villages?

Grindelwald is good but a bit overrated. And depends on what you are looking for. If it's Swiss alpine villages, check out Murren (also Wengen, but Murren is better) and these are reachable by train/cableway combos. Yes, you get food at all these villages. Switzerland is very tourist friendly and very easy to get around with public transport if you don't mind the cost.

Nothing beautiful. Very steep and obstructive mountains everywhere. Boring. I think Thailand is more beautiful. There are mountains sea ocean nightlife sun smiling welcoming people. Much more opportunities than Switzerland.
