When I heard the original retail price of 600 USD and now the 109 USD I had to laugh. I don't think the manufacturer is making a loss by selling it for 109 USD. This example shows how we headphone fans are being taken for a ride.

when you connect the balanaced cable how does the music signal flows from one side to the other? I do not see any cables running from side to side?

You may be interested in crossfeed. It focuses the sound like speakers.
