God bless the poor driver that saw someone die. I hope he feels this was outside his control and his being upset means he is a normal human. Hope he gets past the event soon and understands how he is doing a great job.

Seeing how shaken up that driver was said alot. I worked as a station agent for the New York City Transit Authority and didn't last. The job was highly stressful selling fare cards and being in charge of so much money and dealing with nasty passengers. My hat goes out to these people.

It’s amazing how things have changed in 20years when it comes to drivers and near misses or a person struck. In Victoria, Australia drivers are relieved on the spot if unfit to continue. They are offered counselling rights away and are taken off duty paid until their mental health is right to return. Making this driver run empty to the depot would never happen today especially with how shaken he was.

What a nightmare experience for the driver but horrifying for the young lad, puts my own problems in perspective!

30 percent of assaults in 2 days out of 7 is pretty much statistically just normal... so whoever wrote this is math impaired. If in 2 days 80 percent of assaults happened it would mean something.

London is just overcrowded. Maybe all those high rise flats they're building and more migration will help.

If they were so concerned about the drivers welfare, why was he driving the train after straight the incident with his mindset at the time

I pretty sure a clown on the tracks would not bother me, it was a decision they made.

I saw many many deaths in my job. Accidents by car and plane and helocopter and boat drowning deaths. After a while its just part of the job.

@@cayman9873 l saw a dead body at St Denys station Southampton in the late 90s / early 00s !! it was a suicide !! Some nearby builders through a sheet over so it could be covered !! Then two Poles / Russians fed up with the delay to trains got down on the track and picked the body up and carried it to the platform !! Yeah really !! l'm told them not to do it as it was a Police crime scene !
