Just so you know with the legendary perk you have on the 2 handed weapon for bone spear it will make everything it hits vulnerable with ought the vulnerable upgrade in the skill tree

Keep in mind when you're spamming Blood Mist your 48% chance to spread from your boots becomes ~4.32%... I didn't do extensive testing to see if summons can proc it, but I don't know that it is an aspect I would chase while running up the levels. You already have great corpse stacking with reapers, so I would drop AotD and take more beneficial passives until it makes sense to pull it in (it does provide nice concurrent damage, but so do the other two ultimates).
Im go out on a limb here and assume the legendaries we're getting in the beta will, at the most, be very rare at 25 and under, if obtainable that early at all. This looks like an endgame setup to me. As it's absolutely busted lol
My guess is we won't even get a legendary until atleast character level 50 and above even if that. This is definitely for beta purposes. The game will be an absolute grind. I wish it would be this easy but then everyone would have everything and everyone would get bored of the game.
I think alot of people will be very disappointed as none I mean almost none of all these builds people are putting together will be available this early like mentioned. I'd like someone to put together something that isn't just full legendary powers that does well just in skill tree synergies if that even exists. Grind will be real maybe legendary affixes you can get from codexes only type build.
I have a miasma version that seems to be way more powerful, with 0 minions. I am very happy about this because in mid to late game, when killing things to get corpses is necessary for the non shadow version to continue exploding, the shadow version does not need to kill anything / does not need the reaper skeles to generate corpses. the miasmas stack with each other and each tick of the dot damage counts as a '' hit '' which generates corpses at an exponential rate, as they keep scaling off each other indefinitely, the longer the fight continues ( making it even crazier for bosses ), and my guess is, from level 30-35, it will become too stupid. it also stuns everything permanently and gives you those sweet sweet darkness / shadow passives for movement speed, dmg scaling, etc.
while tips are nice, we gamers still have a brain and should use it :D also i like exploring stuff myself, i ended up with almost the same thing without needing a guide
@@horus666tube Then there's literally hundreds of more builds you didn't think of that are mentioned on the internet. I made a bone spear build that gets 50 essence on proc so I can crit for 5k+ and not run out of essence, debatable which build is better.
There was a build like this in Diablo 3 the problem is it didn't scale well and not viable in harder content as the damage was not enough to put the enemies down before you used up all the corpses. Hopefully this one will scale better, if not this won't be used later in the game.
I tried it and its very fun, only downside is the summons are so squishy during bosses but i guess with more points and lvl we can max out the passive for them.
Tried out necro and got the blood mist legendary as an amulett, so satisfying to use :D But I took reap and blood lance instead as I have a legendary for lance and reap can be specced to give you a corspe every 5 seconds without needing to kill someone, so I will be focusing on blood spells but the build works just as great. Looks like this will be very versatil
i made this build at lv.6 by chance ( got the secondary legendary, i use it since. ) i also made a variant which create a flask of poison damage insteand of explosions, which deals even more damage and infinitely proc corpse which create more miasme. u get it. once u get 1 corpse it's over for everything around you. boss too.
Im using the same logic. Lol. I did choose to have the armor skills with + Skellies to get more corpse (more corpse = more booms = much more dmg). Played 12+ hrs today and had a blast!
yes, I have the same build, but I maxed out my grim harvest to maximize the use of bone spear. First, I exhaust my essence with bone spear then turn into blood mist. Once blood mist is finished, my essence is regenerated and I can shoot bone spear again.
1 handed weapon + shield seems to give higher DPS than 2handed + 200% Shard damage. as higher DPS increases bone spear damage a lot. And maybe "skills deal up to xx damage based on primary resource" is better for corpse explosion.
You inspired me at least for gearing lol. Found a set of rare legs with 2 sockets, +1 mist +1 corpse explosion and imprinted barrier like you mentioned. Just need to figure out what to socket them with

Came across two legendary items, one is +2 to skeletal warriors, and the other is +2 to skeletal mages. So I've been running around with 6 reapers and 5 mages. Since you said you could swap out some of the legendary abilities, you should keep an eye out for those.
The rhyme and reason behind gear, skill tree, removing and adding codex boone etc. is giving me a narcoleptic headache. But I WILL figure it all out. Honestly thank god the gear drops and such won’t be so aggressive so early at launch. I need some damn time.

Yup, my first drop was blood mist becomes corpse explosions & haven't took it off yet... One issue I had was with single target dps after my summons die out.
So are you saying that all the gear your wearing were all yellows then you upgraded them? I'm confused on upgrading , enchanting ect also for us starting what skills should we go with 1 by 1
I min maxed this build... my friend took druid and does all the debuffs for me so i can focus on even more damage... the amount of damage i see on my screen is about 14k a sec... but i use Bloodsurge+echo aspect...
I have the legendary to reduce blood mist cooldown per corpse consumed but my roll is 0.7s, is there anyway to reforge legendaries for higher legendary effects like diablo 3?

How did he “press then golem button”? To make it taunt? Is there an ability that you can put on the bar to sacrifice minions or trigger abilities or do you have to access the book of the dead to do anything with them? Am I missing something?
@@mattjesticmultigaming2758 I get the golem dropped corpses perk. I do not see an skill that causes the golem to taunt that I can activate in the skill tree. Where is it? I went through every node.
Not sure if it's a nerf or something else, but I found the explosive mist imprint on a sword, and the cooldown was 0.5 - 1.5 seconds instead of what was found on the amulet, 0.8 - 2.3 seconds. It's a pain if it's the low end of the cooldown, as this makes the build no where near as efficient as what is shown in the video.
@@alcowe also shield affix seems to be at 150% idk but I switch to a 2h scythe for more raw damage since I dont need the block anymore being so dang tanky
some of this has been becoming confusing to me. So I need to farm the lvl 35 guy and sell the blues and salvage the rates , but save rares that have 4 rolls on them (im not finding those), then put aspects on to the rares if I find them? Sockets, crit, damage to close enemies, lucky int, stats, resitance are rolls I wanna look for?\
do you have the legendary aspect that triggers it? if you do it should work, maybe try equip the corpse explosion in active spell slot maybe? then remove it to save a slot

This was basically already confirmed. Legendary drops have been increased, so people can actually test out the items/builds.

you dont even need them ;) .... i rather have ALL mobs target me... im immortal anyways :P saves me from chasing all the time....

You can use +2 skeleton warriors on that ring, it's additional meat shield and some initial damage.

Explosive mist is a ton of fun, seems a bit op, will be surprised if it makes it to release unchanged

This will obviously not work later on but it is still fun to see it happening since monsters are so weak at this level.
The real problem is 100% uptime invulnerability. That’s not going to change.

Should be the active spell for the golem from the skill tree, I perked into golem drops corpses

put that aspect onto your amulet to double its stats.
You can get high damage with a focus and 1h as well
I never saw the portion about what item you gamble on to get the BM extract.
Did you mention how you got the ammy?
the summons? with ulti we re summon them too, they have to take an active slot

S&B seemed to be the strongest weapon setup due to the shield passive of 80% bonus damage to main hand weapon…
2 Hand is strongest due to more Base damage. 2 one Hand is better in utility because of more Slots.

Test this with Malnok. I finished every dungeon and story with necro, but left Malnok to lvl 25.
