When I used to sing high I used to always strain and today I found out that it's because I've been looking up this entire time it may not work for you but I recommend trying to saying that's how you know while looking down I really hope this helps at least somebody else that way I don't feel weird

Wonderful. I can't wait to take notes on this. Question, when you are lowering your head, it's only slightly, right? Because otherwise I would think lowering the head what kind of constricts your throat and air passage.

Hi Madeline ! I am following you from a long time as my personal vocal coach at home. I am so glad that you're always here to help. But I have a question, as im watching all your videos like binge watching and exercising along, I am scared to get a vocal pain, my vocal cord hurts after singing for half an hour straight and even my voice changes and lowers cuz its tired. I don't know the right technique. *If I did this twice or three times a day will I get better results soon or once a day is enough, cuz I'm not really sure? Please reply*

I actually used to sing for a lot of time (almost 5 years) before I took a hiatus for 2 years. now when I sing high notes, all it hurts is not the upper part of the throat but the lower part. like, where my collarbones meet, the part hurts when I sing high notes. how do I solve that?

I love your videos! Thank you so much! I never had any vocal lessons and I sing in church. I always felt strain when singing. But after watching your videos and following your advice, I've noticed so much improvement. I used to think that I was an alto because I could not sing notes pass an octave above middle c without strain. I don't know if I'm an alto, mezzo-soprano or soprano, lol. All I know is I feel more comfortable singing higher notes!
