It is really strange to me to listen to people who don't make music commenting on the merits of the work of people who do. This review treats the work as if it's obligated to match the standards of the reviewer. How absurd is that? Why would anyone consider the opinion of a person who doesn't make music when deciding whether to buy the music themselves? Either the music connects, or it doesn't. But this absurd practice of self-appointing to the position of categorizing and ascribing value with terms such as "banger" and "single" completely misses the point of the music being "reviewed." I have never bought music because of a review. I don't know anyone who has. It is the most inexplicable occupation imaginable. I question the mind of a person who thinks music reviewers have any real value, even more so the mind of a person who then decides they want to do that instead of making their own music. I make music that I want to hear. I don't run around judging music makers for not making their music the way I think they should. You're probably a nice guy. I just don't what to make of this decision you've made. The technology is so good now that virtually anyone can buy a computer and make music. But instead of doing that, you use your computer to suggest to the doers what you think they should do differently. What a weird thing to do with one's time. It's bizarre.
