Hey man! Awesome video, I just subscribed! Here's a little tip: before pouring silicone open the mold and brush a thin layer of silicone into the little nooks and crannys such as the nose and ears. Then let it cure/dry a little bit (doesn't have to be cured all the way). Close the mold and pour the rest of the silicone straight in. This way you don't have to worry about getting air bubbles in the important face features. :)

Lo digo por que hice una compra hace poco con una resina epoxi para hacer los moldes pero me gusta más el resultado en Silicon ( sería para tener molde de Silicon y reproducir en PlatSil Gel 10 ) Muchas gracias por cualquier respuesta que pueda darme, como siempre, agradecido de su gran contenido y paciencia para explicar en ambos idiomas. Rafie.... i have a question: How do i go about best calculating the volume of my brush on mold? I need to make sure i waste as absolutely little as possible of my Dragon Skin FX Pro Silc. I'm just getting into molding/casting in silicone and i could only afford to get the trial units of the two ATM. BTW i wanna thank you for being such an in depth resource for this kind of stuff on YT :D seriously..... i have yet to find anyone whop comes even CLOSE to the level of detail I've so far bin able to learn from watching your videos!
Thank you for the kind words , my friend , and if your talking about. Mixing the correct quantity to fill the mold I have to tell you that I normally eyeball it and do sometimes mix too much or not enough but one tip I got from a subscriber which I have not tried yet but makes a lot of sense , is to fill the mold with rice , or sand and that will give you a good measurement , the other would be filling it with water but then our will have to deal with letting it dry completely , I would try the rice or sand . If you want I can try the rice and see how close that works and get back to you :)
Morally Ambiguous well that's a little tough one since it's a brush on but you know the best thing to do is actually just mix less then more it doesn't matter if you didn't mix enough to brush the whole piece you can always go back and makes it a little more and add to it
the Platisl 10 after being catalyzed amuenta of volume alone as the minute 10:00 or have you filled all the mold of paltsil? thanks in advance for your reply
