I tried the conditioner for low porosity hair not too long ago. I have fine thin wavy hair with dry skin/scalp. A lot of conditioners will give me slip but then end up weighing my hair down or feeling greasy, so I can’t get any lift esp at crown. The conditioner for low porosity hair is amazing! Even after doing a clarifying wash, that conditioner makes my hair feel amazing and not heavy or greasy. I look fwd to trying the gel!
Your hair/curls look so shiny and bouncy and well formed. I am so sorry you are not feeling well. I hope you have an excellent rheumatologist caring for you.
You hair looks great! I have fine, medium density, high porosity hair. I have used some Shea Moisture products for years and really like them. I admit I don't really use any stylers except for the Coconut Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie which I love. I really like the shampoo/conditioner/deep conditioner for the 100% Coconut and the Manuka Honey and Yogurt. Like anything else you just have to find the ones that work for you. Also, I LOVE my Bounce Curl brush. It has the perfect amount of tension and the nubs for separating have done wonders for my curl clumps.
As someone who occasionally colors my hair and has 2A-2C hair, the manuka honey hydrating mask is so good. Very moisturizing, but never leaves my hair overweighed. If you get the chance to snag it, I highly recommend.
I use sometimes shampoo for anti dandruff that has salicylic acid too. it has EDTA salt for removing hard water build-up, and citric acid for balance the ph in the shampoo.
This was a beautiful wash day! I haven't tried these products because I have fine hair and they seem too heavy, but maybe I'll give this a try! Thanks you!
The Jamaican Black Castor Oil shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner are so lovely! My hair is soft, smells great and the shampoo leaves your hair feeling almost like you used a conditioner. So great 😊
I have been loving your one brand wash days! It would be interesting to see if you have a favourite so far? The Shae Moisture products look amazing on you!!!!!!! I hope this is a favourite for you and that you’ll use them regularly now :-)
Hey! I never comment on videos, but today I feel like I have something worth saying, so here I go! 😄 Fristly, I always felt like we are hair sisters. My hair is almost an exact copy of yours: fine, same wave patterns, low porosity, low density, low volume, slightly darker in colour and my scalp is oily like yours. I never had those bumps on my scalp though until I moved from Portugal to Denmark, and yes they hurt a lot. Lord I thought I had hard water before, but Denmark is a different world when it comes to limescale!!! I know you have hard water too, so maybe your inflamation comes from the same source as mine. I rinse my hair with vinegar at least once a week after my whole wash routine, leave it for a good 30 seconds to a minute and rinse it out with minimal water before my leave-in (that way almost all of it is gone, but minimal mineral deposits from rinsing it stays on my hair). This seems to help so much and I can wash my hair with conditioner (as I always did in Portugal) for a whole 2 weeks before I need to use a low poo. That shampoo seems very interesting and I definitely want to try it, it might do the same as my vinegar rinse. But I did want to ask you about products you might recommend for me and my climate. I never tried your favourites because I live in a very humid climate. I can manage summer just fine, but in winter my hair looses all definition, becomes very heavy and feels wet to the touch (even when I avoid glicerin)... Since we have similar hair textures, do you have any recommendations for me? Thank you and sorry for the very lenghty comment 😅
Wow!!!! What a complete 180 from the last time with these products!! And you also finally found some competition for the Briogeo OBWD! Way to go! I was starting to think that one was a unicorn. Makes all these OBWDs worth it!!
Wow! I might have to try that milk gel! Your results were amazing. I haven't used Shea Moisture products in a while since they discontinued my favorite Fruit Fusion line for wavy hair. 😢
How do you not lose handfuls of hair during your washdays?? When I haven’t washed for a few days, the hair fall is unreal. I’m pumped to try this lineup (it’s on sale at H‑E‑B!!) but I’m starting to wonder if there’s something wrong with my massive wash day hairballs. 😰
I mean...how *great* are those results?! 👏🏻 Hopped onto the site but the milk gel is sold out! 😲 That's OK...I'll try again, soon! 😉 Thanks for sharing, hope you're feeling better. ❤
Wow...amazing results! i am buying these products tomorrow. You have to also try the Coconut and Hibiscus Gel Souffle....I get unbelievable definition when i use it and get day 3/4 hair! My hair is 2b-3a...do try it! Shea moisture prods are amazing and i think they get a bad wrap.
I tend to really enjoy moisturizers, soaps, and products with goat milk in general. They always make my skin feel amazing. I will definitely he adding this gel to my list of products to try.
Wow!! I tend to stay away from Shea Moisture because I have very fine, low density wavy/curly hair. This video changed my mind. From your recent one day wash day videos, your hair looks the best with this line up. Also, I hope this isn't a dumb question, but since I don't have dandruff, but do have the milia bumps in my head, could I use this shampoo?
I’m so glad you liked this video! No, that isn’t a dumb question at all! I don’t have dandruff either. But I do have the milia bumps on my head, and I feel like the shampoo is perfect for that.
I love a runny gel, so I'm super intrigued by the milk gel! I hope they get it back in stock, or they start selling it at Target or Sally. Love your results!
This is really interesting. I think once - a long time ago - I bought the conditioner, but gave it away and was afraid of trying it - because I thought it would be wayyyy too heavy. I think I'm going to try it!
Can you try the Loma shampoo, conditioner, and hard hold gel for one brand wash day. I just found their gel and it is so good! Curious to see what you think.
The Shea Moisture manuka honey and mafura oil intensive hydration hair masque is my all-time favorite deep conditioner. And I've tried probably a dozen or more deep conditioners. I also like the shampoo and conditioner that come in this same line. They have a pretty strong smell of honey so if you don't like that smell you probably won't like these products. But now I want to try the products in this video 😊
I love this, because my hair is similar to yours in some aspects, so this helps me to find new products that can work on my hair. But I think I would need a ranking or two, because I don't know which one try first 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for this video! I loved your results so much that I just went to buy the milk gel from your link, and it’s out of stock. I checked everywhere, including the Shea Moisture site, and it appears to be out of stock everywhere. :( It looks like such a holy grail product, so I hope that they aren’t discontinuing it!
Courtney, you are so pretty and I am really loving this series. I have greasy hair like you and I was just wondering why you used such a lot of conditioner? I probably would only have used a quarter of that as I would be scared if I used more it would make my hair greasier quicker. Thanks Courtney. Blessings to you and your family from the U.K. xxxx
What do you mean by "grit"? What does that feel like? I've been using the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Conditioner and I think my hair loves that stuff. It is as close to seaweed hair as I've ever had - meaning it gets rid of the webbing and wet frizz and looks like it would clump together nicely... buuuuut... the moment I try to put any product in it my hair freaks out. I get flashdrying, webbing, wet frizz, and it gets tangled and matted even while soaking wet. I'm trying to figure out what my hair needs based on how it feels - I would say my hair feels stronger - like the strands feel more defined and uniform - after the conditioner, and seems to hold the water better right after I rinse out the conditioner- but it's not slippery or slimy. I'm wondering if thats what you mean by gritty.
1:00 Quick note since you mentioned cruelty free, a fair few of Shea Moisture's items aren't vegan. Some formulas use things like honey and silk, making them unsuitable for vegans.
Hello Courtney can you try shampooing and conditioning with Suave Naturals....they are green bottles...for some reason my hair loves this product even though they may not be 100 percent clean...and then the gel from where ever you recommended please....
What’s kind of funny to me is that my hair actually really likes shea moisture, especially the raw shea butter conditioner and leave in conditioner, but it’s wavy and on the finer side lol. Maybe it’s because I’m a dry person.
not directly related to wavy curly hair, and maybe not something everyone wants, but I’d love to hear how Faith was a part of your self acceptance journey, if it was a factor, it always feels like there’s something powerful behind your “ fearfully, and wonderfully made” statement.
Love this! This is my testimony! I've also sprinkled throughout other videos. There is for sure power behind "fearfully and wonderfully made"! th-cam.com/video/hwJwcE_0IEU/w-d-xo.html
I think these products smell amazing but they are too heavy for my thick Caucasian hair and the shampoo/ conditioner gave me scalp break out. I prefer Miss Jessies products .
Do you want freedom from frizz? ➡ bit.ly/freedomfromfrizz
Can you please show us your overnight pineapple for short hair?
Thanks!
Every time I click on this link it says that it is $27! I thought you said it was free? Am I doing something wrong?
I tried the conditioner for low porosity hair not too long ago. I have fine thin wavy hair with dry skin/scalp. A lot of conditioners will give me slip but then end up weighing my hair down or feeling greasy, so I can’t get any lift esp at crown. The conditioner for low porosity hair is amazing! Even after doing a clarifying wash, that conditioner makes my hair feel amazing and not heavy or greasy. I look fwd to trying the gel!
Thank you! I just learned my hair is curl! At 38 years old. So I’m learning a whole new way of caring for my hair and your videos are really helpful
Did i miss the link to the brush? Im so excited to try it and these products!! I love your channel!
Your hair/curls look so shiny and bouncy and well formed. I am so sorry you are not feeling well. I hope you have an excellent rheumatologist caring for you.

I’m loving this series and this seems like a great product for me! Thank you so much!!
So happy to hear you are loving this series too! It's been fun! Thank you!
Could you please do a one day wash day with curls blueberry bliss products? Thanks!
Agreed!!! Use their gel and love it but so curious about their shampoo and conditioner!
As someone who occasionally colors my hair and has 2A-2C hair, the manuka honey hydrating mask is so good. Very moisturizing, but never leaves my hair overweighed. If you get the chance to snag it, I highly recommend.
Thank you for the recommendation!
I have to just say YOU are like a breath of fresh air!! I love watching your videos. Thank you so much 😍
Awe, thank you! This is so sweet!
Beautiful! This is a great line up. Btw, show us how you are pineappling your short hair pretty please 😊
Thank you! I just pineapple as normal! Just some of the back pieces don't make it in. They do get a little more stretched out but I'm okay with that!
Just ordered the milk gel! Already using the conditioner and love it! Thanks for this video! I always enjoy hanging out with you!
Yay fun!!! Hope you like it too! I So glad you love hanging out here too! It's a pretty great community!
Hair looks good, Courtney!!😍 Keep ALL of those products!
I have been so excited for this one!!!!! Ahhh! Thank you for sharing!! I love these one brand wash days.
Yay!!! Good!!! Glad you are enjoying these too!
I’ve been researching Shea moisture products so hard yesterday! Now this came out!! This is awesome 😊
Ohh perfect timing! Love when this happens!
Same here! I thought I had to go with another brand for my gel, but loved ur review Courtney, now I’ll buy the milk gel!
This wash day looks amazing! I can’t wait to try these products. I’m curious as to how your scalp felt after a couple days after using these products.
I’m going to try that gel! Will you be putting out a separate video about the new hair brush that you used?
She did do a shorts video last week I believe, check it out 😊
@@sandyklingenstein1856 Thanks! I usually don’t watch Shorts videos so thanks for letting me know.
Congrats ! Excellent wash day Courtney and that really gave you awesome waves ! Love the T-shirt too ! Thanks for sharing in spite of your pain. 🙏
Awe thank you! Glad I still could share!
❤ that’s a lovely day 2; this summer has been rough for my curls 🤯 ☀️
I’ve never seen that gel either. Can’t wait to try it. Would you link that brush, please?
I use sometimes shampoo for anti dandruff that has salicylic acid too. it has EDTA salt for removing hard water build-up, and citric acid for balance the ph in the shampoo.
And is made in Israel so it's work well for Israelis hair.
How do you not have to clean hair out of your brush? I loose a lot of hair on wash days!😮
This was a beautiful wash day! I haven't tried these products because I have fine hair and they seem too heavy, but maybe I'll give this a try! Thanks you!
Yes!!! Totally recommend!
Love Shea Moisture!!!!❤
The Jamaican Black Castor Oil shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner are so lovely! My hair is soft, smells great and the shampoo leaves your hair feeling almost like you used a conditioner. So great 😊
Ohh sounds nice!
I have been loving your one brand wash days! It would be interesting to see if you have a favourite so far? The Shae Moisture products look amazing on you!!!!!!! I hope this is a favourite for you and that you’ll use them regularly now :-)

That’s awesome! I had tried that lines regular gel and was pretty disappointed, it had no hold. Will have to try this one!
Did you know your picture is on an ad on Temu for a headband?
Yes, I am looking into it! Thank you!
Wow, amazing! I think that might be the best washday so far. Hope you feel better soon. 😊
Right?! I think so too! Thank you!!!
I mean...how *great* are those results?! 👏🏻 Hopped onto the site but the milk gel is sold out! 😲 That's OK...I'll try again, soon! 😉 Thanks for sharing, hope you're feeling better. ❤

I need you to do Oudidad & the target function of beauty 1 brand wash days
Your hair looks great. Do you think the brush had something to do with the second day results?
I tend to really enjoy moisturizers, soaps, and products with goat milk in general. They always make my skin feel amazing. I will definitely he adding this gel to my list of products to try.
Wow! Your hair looks amazing. I have always loved Shea Moisture... This video just solidifies that.
Beautiful results. Could you try Rizos?
Wow!! I tend to stay away from Shea Moisture because I have very fine, low density wavy/curly hair. This video changed my mind. Personally my hair looks good the first day but very greasy after on these products
Nice! I’m going to have to try the gel! I have super fine hair and I want to try this now
I love, love this wash day and it held up well.😀
I love a runny gel, so I'm super intrigued by the milk gel! I hope they get it back in stock, or they start selling it at Target or Sally. Love your results!
This is really interesting. I think once - a long time ago - I bought the conditioner, but gave it away and was afraid of trying it - because I thought it would be wayyyy too heavy. I think I'm going to try it!
Totally understandable! Hope it works for you!
Others have commented on that deep conditioner as well!
Hi as always lovely videos 😊❤xx
I love this, because my hair is similar to yours in some aspects, so this helps me to find new products that can work on my hair. But I think I would need a ranking or two, because I don't know which one try first 🤣🤣🤣
Can you do some of the professional brands like goldwell, pureology or redkin?
Thank you for this video! I loved your results so much that I just went to buy the milk gel from your link, and it’s out of stock. I checked everywhere, including the Shea Moisture site, and it appears to be out of stock everywhere. :( It looks like such a holy grail product, so I hope that they aren’t discontinuing it!

You would think that... but it doesn't make my hair greasier!
Hi Courney! Your hair looks fab! ❤
I think I have seen that conditioner in Costco. I may have to give that a go after I shrink my stash.
What do you mean by "grit"? What does that feel like? I've been using the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Conditioner and I think my hair loves that stuff. @SwavyCurlyCourtney, what type of hair do you have? Thin, low porosity? Love your videos!
They discontinued the milk gel, do you know of any alternatives that compare?
3a girlie here, learning new techniques, products and tools! New to your channel❤
Welcome!!! This is a fun journey to be on! I hope what I share helps!
1:00 Quick note since you mentioned cruelty free, a fair few of Shea Moisture's items aren't vegan. Some formulas use things like honey and silk, making them unsuitable for vegans.
Is the milk gel a new product from shea moisture? I’m having a hard time finding it for a reasonable price
Hello Courtney can you try shampooing and conditioning with Suave Naturals....they are green bottles...for some reason my hair loves this product even though they may not be 100 percent clean...and then the gel from where ever you recommended please....
The daily hydration conditioner is not one that I've ever liked, but I LOVED the masque in that line. It's been discontinued. 😞
How about an all about curls onebrand wash day please.
All I can say is WOW! ❤
The define brush from bounce curl is sold out. They won’t get more for another 2-3 months. 😢
Oh no, I was just going to see if i could order it. Looks like a great curl brush!
I loovveee this result!
Thank you so much!!
Wow I can not believe thise curls!!
Me too!
Oh i am SO trying these! 👌🙌
Hope you enjoy!
Can you point me to the brush you used? Denman brush gives me stringy hair not clumps.
I'm trying to find the free frizz-free flow chart and every time I click on the link it says it's $27??? What am I doing wrong?
Hmm... I'll look but in the mean time, here is the link! bit.ly/frizzfreeflowchart
It looks so good
Thank you so much!
Could you do ceremonia ? For a one brand wash day
I’m kicking myself I didn’t buy that brush when I looked at it last week! 😂 It’s sold out now. Hopefully not for long… 🤞🏻
What’s kind of funny to me is that my hair actually really likes shea moisture, especially the raw shea butter conditioner and leave in conditioner, but it’s wavy and on the finer side lol. Maybe it’s because I’m a dry person.
Ahh could be!
Oh i really want to try the gel…. Just looked they are sold out😢
Ugh!!! Bummer! Hopefully, it comes back in stock!
What's the best Shea Mositure line for thick wavy hair ?
Almost anything else they make would be good for that type of hair. I actually had a hard time finding products that were suited to my fine wavy hair.
not directly related to wavy curly hair, and maybe not something everyone wants, but I’d love to hear how Faith was a part of your self acceptance journey, if it was a factor, it always feels like there’s something powerful behind your “ fearfully, and wonderfully made” statement.

More video's with wash days please❤
Thank you! More coming!
Do you recommend the cantu shine & define custard because I can't get the shea moisture milk jel in the UK
What is the “PINEAPPLE”?
It always shocks me when I watch you wash how red your scalp gets!
I know... It's normal for me though, it's not an allergic reaction! But thank you!
Ooh! I have this shampoo!
Unfortunately, the milk gel has been discontinued. 😳
Ughhhh nooooo!!!
Please do As I Am line
It’s sold out everywhere!! ☹️
I saw that! Even Shea Moisture doesn't have it in stock. Hope they're not discontinuing it.
When I checked this morning, they had some stock. It also said it was new on the website. So I’d be very surprised if it’s already being discontinued.
You don't want grow out your hair again?
I'm shocked at the results! A milk with that kind of hold?!.!
Right?! That is exactly what I thought!
It's currently sold out. I bet this is how it happened 😆
Hmm.. which product? I just checked and all the links provided are showing in stock.
“bad floofy frizzy hair” girl your hair looks beautiful, smooth, shiny how it dries naturally just FYI!
Awe thank you!!!
Are you allergic to these producys? Your forehead at the roots is red.
Nope! That's just my body's natural response to something touching it! lol
I think these products smell amazing but they are too heavy for my thick Caucasian hair and the shampoo/ conditioner gave me scalp break out. I prefer Miss Jessies products .
Oh bummer!!!
