  • This is a perfect example of how Fireball Tool square help with every aspect of a build. From using them to make the first of 4 frames perfectly square, to using them as outside corners so the next 3 are identical to the first, to holding a frame level as a third hand.... fireball tool takes all the frustration out of fabrication. The frames came out square and it was much faster than before fireball. #gamechanger

    I learn something new every time I watch your videos thanks. And learn another trick with the fireball tool squares and how handy they are and why everyone can benefit from them. Just listened to the welding tips and tricks podcast and after show good episode. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t even know of fireball tools squares and how handy they are. I think I seen them too from Jody’s TH-cam episode at fab tech but you are the man that show cases them how useful they are love it Still didn’t get mine yet gotta save a little more but it’s on my top 10 list. Good video as always 👊

    Great work JD. Some jobs are real easy money if only you had a bigger table or a specific tool or another welder or a whatever. Glad to see you have ways around different problems. Some people i know would be there all day trying to build that frame.

      @jdbrewer6638  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Moto Z I know for a fact it would have atleast taken me twice as long to fab this without the squares... these make every job easier, thanks for watching!

    That’s a really smart approach! I have a few of the Fireball square and they always make my life easier. I would like to get more so I can jig up a frame all at once like that. Right now I have to do them one corner at a time. I also struggle with larger frames. I usually end up making two L shapes and then welding them together. When they are larger than my welding table (which is embarrassingly often). I vertically balance them on the floor.

  • @discountoutdoorstore

    Super slick...last time I built something like that on the floor it was an all day hands and knees deal and it wasn't fun.
    I like the time lapse too...shows there is nothing up the magicians sleeves lol. Like Jody said below there are lots of gold nuggets there for the taking. If you can take a simple job like that and cut 2 or 3 hours off of it that's $ $ $. The blocks will pay for themselves in short order.
    How long approx did that build take you?

    • @jdbrewer6638
      @jdbrewer6638  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      discountoutdoorstore thanks, it only took like 3 or 4 hours for everything. Every project seems much faster when I use the squares

    Also in the podcast Jody was saying about cutting the big 4x8 steel plate with a metabo and how you get hate comments a lot that it is a sponsor. That mad me mad that people write stuff like that if anything they should be sponsoring you with how useful you show how good their tool is and if you get paid for it I’d say good for you and you deserve it. Anybody that don’t like it can F off and go kick rocks no need to bring negativity here your doing something good and I hope you can eventually make a good living off of it you deserve it. I didn’t see it in a video that you were talking about on the podcast about using the grinder a different way. Were you basically pushing
    The grinder if so i do it a lot too I no it’s not the safest but it helps out a lot with me in some cases. Did have a couple close calls and got bit
    On my finger a couple times. But that’s another thing on my list 6” metabo with the clutch for safety for those reasons . I only really use the 4-1/2 hate the 7” or bigger to big and heavy 6” metabo I’m gonna be getting me one soon too. Thanks for all the useful tips 🙏👊
