Thank you a million! Very, very detailed. I have done many car audio installs. It's always super helpful to know what you're getting into, before you get into it! Fabulous video.
I have a 2018 Honda Civic 6-speed, looks like the same radio. Why do I need a radio code ? Don’t want to upgrade mine just yet until I know about the codes
I used your video as a guide to remove my 2016 Honda civics radio. Never thought about replacing until last week. I installed a new radio today and I should have done it when I bought the car in 2016. Thanks so much for sharing!
Hey, thanks for the guide. We have the same radiomodule installed. We want to change it for a third party product with an reverse camera. If the car has no reverse camera installed, do you know by any chance if the cable to the back of the car is already preinstalled by Honda? Thanks
i have a 2020 civic coupe, could you please suggest (if any) a infotainment screen (like the civic EX couope has or similar) i could use after removing my cars system like you showed in the video ?
Bro thank you so much for being so thorough other videos never showed little things like the clip where it doesn’t let it come out, anyways super thankful 🫶🏼
Its like riding a bike. You can do it with or without a helmet. If you make a mistake disconnecting the battery will keep you safe but I do not think it is required to remove the radio as long as the key is off.
great video! I just changed my car radio but now am getting a " sound off" message.. the rear camera is working, but radio stays on this same screen. Anyone knows what to do? thank you
Great video. I pay $100 every month for Motologic and I couldn’t find it on there I’ve been paying for it for probably four years it’s ridiculous that in the factory shop manual if you can’t find that or at least I couldn’t so thank you
Because of complications with installations we do not sell one yet. Apparently depending on where your car is made the pin configurations change. We hope to figure that out soon. But we usually use the metra interface for this car. You might have to call tech.
Will it fit yes…but putting the EX head unit in the LX will be way more modifications to the wiring than just going with an aftermarket. Plus aftermarket head units will have better interfaces.
Thank you for the video! So the only thing i ran into after the installation. It appears as the stereo is off. When i hold the power buton it beeps but does not start. I disconnected the battery to see if that would help but it stays there. Any advice on what i should do?
Nice video. Trying to install my amplifier to my civic, does anyone know which wires are speaker outputs?? I need the wire diagram for this head unit please!
Could someone help me I have a 2017 civic Yes. The radio is damaged I got a radio from a 2022 civic if 2020 knows if it is compatible with my car or do I have to do something for the configuration
Should have many more views in my opinion,Short simple and informed, Thank-you
Thank you!
Just followed this video step by step and worked out perfectly. Thank you so much!
Not a problem. I'm glad it worked out for you.

That’s a common problem
Do you have a link how to install it you are very good at explaining things and going into details small tricks that help thank you for that
Thank you. We have not had another Civic ome in that will let us film the installation.
I have to swap one put tomorrow. Thanks bro!
Good Luck!
Sir I have a question, how do you get the radio code??
Only Honda can give you that. It might be in your owners manual.

Damn I'm not that old.... Maybe I am lol
Does this work on a 2020 Civic LX trying to upgrade my radio to a big screen but Honda says there is no upgrade 🤔🤔🤔
Does what work? Adding new factory screen or adding aftermarket screen?

I would try ebay or a radio repair shop.
How to reset this radio cause of hanging

We sell the parts.

I forget what radio we did in the car but it can be replaced with almost any aftermarket radio.

Did you disconnect the negative terminal on the battery or can you skip that step?

Can you make a video with aftermarket radio and harnesses
We want to but we have not had another customer that lets us video come in yet.
Will eom touchscreen fit my civic I have the lx and want to add the oem touchscreen radio
We still do not trust any OEM fit radios. I would go with a name brand radio.

Assuming you installed a new aftermarket radio. Check both of your powers and ground. If they are good I would assume a bad radio.
Do you know if this honda is a ex or lx ?? Or is the same radio ?
I dont know but I do know that the trim can sometimes change the radio because I have seen two different ones.
Looks like EX. I have a 2017
