If they played a traditional 4-4-2 Harry Kane wouldn't fare as well due to his usual presence on the pitch for spurs bit vardy would. They need to do what atletico did with diego costa and play one higher up than the other. It was what they did against Germany and it worked so they should definitely do this for the euros. And Hodgeson needs to grow some balls and drop Rooney.

I reckon the two would compliment each other really well in a game. Maybe put Vardy up just a bit ahead of Kane who could stay towards the outside of the box. Kane could have most shots and provide the power while Vardy could do the runs to the goal line to pick up the goals

If you had asked me in 2016 its difficult to say cause vardy could have been a one hit wonder but after all this seasons that vardy scored a lot of goals and reached 100 pl goals in 5 years it has to be Jamie Vardy

Harry Kane is a Hurricane, That lad has a great future ahead, he can score 1 yard away, 20 yards away, he has stamina and he is the top premier league scorer in a calendar year since jan 2015 to jan 2016 , he is 21, not inury prone perhaps played all spurs games for 2 seasons straight. Kane miles ahead

Kane is the better of those two if you ask me. He and Sturridge should form the striking partnership of England, with Wayne Rooney as an offensive midfielder.

Rooney made us relevant again when he was younger, between an injury and a stupid red card against Portugal in two separate quarterfinals, really hurt us both times, we were playing well. Rooney is the reason we went undefeated in qualifying IMO, W/O Rooney captaining the squad, we'll struggle, we definetly not be as sharp as we were in qualifiying, Rooney's experience is needed among all our young talent.
Honestly, there is no debate Harry Kane is better.
Kane hands down. You put him in any other premier league team and he'll score goals guaranteed, where as with Vardy it's just working for him at Leicester, some players and clubs just work and if he was to leave I don't think he'd be as good tbh. Also Kane has 7 years on Vardy. Just a better player in general to me

no disrespect to vardy but kane is clearly the better player all around. now that theres no space in behind, vardy is mostly anonymous most of the time. He's also closer to retirement. Kane on the other hand can turn and fire a shot in seemingly from anywhere near or in the box. If he isn't leading the line for england at the euros then hodgson must have completely lost it

Kane + Vardy could be a great combination at the euros. None of this 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 bullshit, fucking play 4-4-2 with Kane and Vardy up top, it will scare defenders! If Roy Hodgson doesn't do that then I really dont think he has a clue. Both have to play, both have to start and playing them both up top as a partnership, could be insane and one of the best duos we've seen at England for a very long time.

Sturridge is better than both of these when he's fit, without a doubt. Kane however is class and will be a huge player for England I reckon.

I prefer Kane, simply because his rise could be a start of something great. I just hope Spurs keep him and use him and the other sick talent they have to make something of themselves. If he leaves, I do hope it's outside of England because it would ruin the BPL for me seeing him in a Chelsea, MCFC, MUFC or, god forbid, Arsenal outfit.
Vardy on the other hand is a supernova, shining the brightest as he nears the end of his prime. A great story to follow for a year or two more but after that I believe his age will catch up with him. I hope he stays with the Foxes but I doubt the owners will be able to resist the inevitable ridiculously high offer they will receive for him.

Kane is better. I have my reasoning. Kane has been prolific for longer, he is the complete 'English Package', and he is only 21. Vardy, on the other hand, is 28 (still not too old), Scores with a bit more help, and has only been on the scene this one season. Both are amazing, but Kane pips Vardy at the post
These two are my two favourite strikers right now but I am leaning towards saying Kane is better than Vardy. Nevertheless I love Vardy and I believe England should play with these two strikers as CF so as to win games!
