The tanker really went nuts on the horn!! Superb video! Love the old F800 and the Sutphen (in such an odd colour, too)
Thank you!
That old ford is awesome ! Also LOVE the sound of the Q And the air horn !
Love the color scheme on the Colombian apparatus! Happy Holidays! 🌲
I do as well. Thanks, you too!
That old Ford is awesome!
The grey-blue colors on the Sutphen look awesome too!
Thanks for watching!
Watching that Ford gives you that "they sure don't make them as they used to anymore" feeling
Great catch. Nice to see a older rig still in service.
Thanks!
Can't blieve you caught that old ford! Nice work
Haha, the moment I found out it was in service, I had to take a trip over there to catch it. It actually took two tries but I'm really glad I was able to catch it. Thank you!
The Ford in the opening of the video is cool
I never seen 17-1000 respond before.
It is rarely in service so as soon as I found out it was, I had to head over there to get a video.
@@LowHudEmergency Oh nice
Man the Ford rig is awesome! Wonder if it’s stick or auto. Either way I hope a collector ends up with that sweet truck!
the shift i heard sounded like an auto but i could be wrong, either way the things in great shape for its age isn’t it!
Yeah, I went to Spring Valley specifically to catch that truck because it's rarely in service. Thanks for watching!
Nice catch of Spring Valley
Thanks!
@@LowHudEmergency n p
Awesome catches
Thanks!
Sick!!
Thanks!
whats 10-7100 and how is that red truck an engine but the blue unit is tanker reveresd trucks
Both units are engines by purpose. I believe the Tanker has extrication equipment as well. The 17 in both unit's designation is Spring Valley's department number, so all of their apparatus starts with a 17. By the county's designation system, most engines are numbered according to the gallon per minute rating of their pump. So 17-1000 has a 1000 gallon per minute pump. Additionally, any apparatus that carries a minimum of 1000 gallons on board may be designated as a tanker, even though many are not what people would consider true tankers. Technically, they do meet NFPA's minimum requirements for a tanker apparatus, although that could probably be considered outdated.
@@LowHudEmergency oh ok
@@emergencyresponsevideosand4423 hello johnny
Be sure to check out the new tower ladder 14 of Mount kisco when you get a chance.
I have a video of it already; it'll be up in a few weeks.
how many gallons does the tanker carry?
The minimum water tank size for a tanker in Rockland County is 1000. I know what you’re thinking. Lol.
1000 gallons. Specs are in the description.
A ford LTL 9000 not a rig that'd u see everyday
It's an F8000, but yeah, certainly not very common anymore.
That not tanker its engine
That's not what it says on the side....
You know difference from engine and tanker
Engine Carries 750 to 1600 gallons water tankers have 2000 up to 5000 gallons water
Tanker is just a designation, it is an engine by purpose..
