I am going to be making some follow-up videos. THEY WILL BE MUCH SHORTER LOL. I realized that I was missing a few cars plus I can make dedicated focused videos. For example, "Vans of the Hot Wheels Retro Series" and show some loose basic samples that show the roof feature.
The Camaro was Buddy Reppertons Christine crashed into it at the gas station and did you know in that scene when Christine hit the Camaro if you look when the hood pops open there's no engine inside of it xD
The Retro (Replica) Entertainment series has put some great models to collect thoughout the years. Koenigsegg Agera R , the blue Skyline R34, GMC Panel Van from A-Team, Thunder Roller and the 1980 Dodge Macho Power Wagon are some of the most sought after models. I like that you can get castings that you rarely see in the mainlines, most of the time anyway. That was a great video, thanks for showing all these Mark!
Hello, Mark. The Camaro in 'Christine' belonged to the school bully, Buddy Repperton. After he and his goons trash Christine in Darnell's auto repair shop, Christine repairs herself, and goes to seek Buddy out. She finds him at a gas station, and T-bones his Camaro, so he can't escape, killing one of his goons at the same time. This starts a fire at the gas station, covering Christine in burning gasoline. She chases Buddy down the road, running him down, leaving his burning corpse in the road. She returns to Darnell's, a burned-out wreck, and unfortunately for Mr Darnell, he sees her return, and park herself up in her usual bay. Going to see who is driving, Darnell opens the door and gets in. The radio starts playing, and Christine makes the driver's seat move forward with Darnell in it, crushing him to death against the steering column. When Darnell is found the next morning, Christine has repaired herself again. Sorry for that, but it's a movie I've watched many times over the years, and love every time. It's my brother's favourite movie, bar none. He owns the two Hot Wheels models you have, plus one by Auto World, with black windows - when she's driving herself, and another Auto World version, as she's first seen, as a rusty wreck in Mr LeBay's front yard, complete with a tiny 'For Sale' sign.

@@racegrooves I'm torn on them, I never collected the older style, got back into HW in 2019 so it was too late. I did get the Anchor Man new on peg for a friend as a x-mas gift, so I do remember them. I just don't want to pay $20 when HW can just re-release it on us again. I know the GT-R was just done with different wheel color, probable a slightly darker blue too, however, being F&F, of course that was a given to re-rerelease. Ferrari is off the table for now but the read can slowly be snuck in Pop Culture. The Mystery Machine is nice and all, 10 releases later and no second release for Greased Lightning? :( So many others one and done for now. Hope to see you soon!

Did Hot Wheels not have the Testarossa license at the time? I do know that Ferrari didn't like having the black car on the show because of the corvette chassis. They blew it up to get the white car which wasn't used in stunt scenes.
