@@nobodyhere100 I agree Sparkle requires ultimate vocal technique. Bet Brendon Urie, a baritone with a crazy good mixed voice and range and control on every note, might be able to do it justice. Bruno Mars might easily hit every note due to his high pitched tenor voice but probably won't sound good because he has a thin and light timbre.
@@laptopstudy3279 I need to listen to Brendon Urie, I didn’t know he was a baritone. Bruno’s voice has always sounded nice to me. It sounds light but not thin, there is a lot of substance in it, especially the higher notes. One day I hope to make my own vocal cover of Sparkle, and also do a full band cover.
@@nobodyhere100 You are right if we compare Bruno to Michael jackson, he has more technique and a lot more substance but I still dont think he will sound great in this cover. A low tenor or baritone will sound best because low voices have more juice. I mean in Sparkle, you can hear the manliness in Tatsuro, he is not a baritone for sure but i think he is a low tenor or average tenor so he has a manly tone compared to higher tenors. Brendon is a baritone for sure you can hear he starts mixing at E4 and above. Another giveaway is his speaking voice, its pretty low and resonant, that is not 100% accurate but it adds more substance to the case. Check his frank sinatra covers too he sounds just like him. The thing is once you developed your mix and upper range, people will call you a tenor because lets face it most people are not singers or dare to achieve complete mastery of their upper range and mixed voice.
