Regular booster packs it is about 1/8 that have a mythic, set boosters you have about a 25% higher chance to get another, so 3/8 is pretty much right on the money not including the promo. But yeah, buy singles or look at packs as gambling/the experience of opening plus the value of the cards.
9$ draft packs, 12$ set packs, 45$ collector pack at my LGS....hard pass. For that kind of money I rather get double masters 22 or modern horizons 2 packs.
I liked the box the most, 😊I never collected Magic cards so I will be lost trying to figure out what is rare and ultra rare from the common cards but I love LOTR so I might just buy some for the artwork.
Doesnt look like Bundle is good deal. Maybe because there is too much hype of the chase Ring cards which is causing rest of the set prices to be higher than it should be. This LoTR set is going to make people buy excess and no one is going to buy singles because everyone including their grandma will be opening it. This could be example of high supply and low demand after the 1 of 1 is found.
Indeed, probably will still hold at least 10, it's a good card but the price now is too high considering the bundle thing. They're already out of stock here in Europe and selling for like 80-90 in cardmarket tho.
like every lotr product this increased in price by 100 % on 1 month ^^ this was like 40-45 bucks now its 85 and giftbundle was 59-66 and is now 120^^ Insane
Price gouging is what it is due to the hype. The retail is not that I assure this.. also to note that it's illegal in the USA.. but most don't know this and due to greed of the sellers as well . Wizards not the only greedy groups out there. It's so bad even walmart and target are breaking the law as well lmao
Price gouging refers to when retailers and others take advantage of spikes in demand by charging exorbitant prices for necessities, often after a natural disaster or other state of emergency. Thirty-seven states, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia have statutes or regulations that defining price gouging during a time of disaster or emergency. In most states, price gouging is set as a violation of unfair or deceptive trade practices law. Most of these laws provide for civil penalties, as enforced by the state attorney general, while some state laws also enforce criminal penalties for price gouging violations.
Bundles have no gurantees on mythics so besides the one ring pulling three mythics is HUGE
Indeed lol
I can see the Mount doom scene foil cards will definitely tanked in price since it's easily obtainable in Bundle set
Every bundle is a loss unless you pull another One Ring or an Orcish Bowmasters.

you can buy 4 commander legends draft booster boxes and get 100 % more value out of it ^^
57 dollars for the bundle is insane considering the one ring promo, this bundle is very worth it if you pay a max of 70.
lol 70 for a basic bundle, I paid less than that for my Gift bundle with collectors pack.
@@shidiwen1407 if you pre order like 4 months ago... Lol

Most openings of this set I've seen look like total trash. Too many cards in the set, not enough of them worth anything to justify the price tag.
Fully agree. The only card I was after tho was Shadowfax (UC) and I pulled him during the pre-release event! Lucky me lol
Sad I pre ordered a set. Should habe just bought singles like I normally do.
@@MistakenMexicanyou should be able to cancel the preorder if that’s really what you want
