Yessir, with the pipe installed the saw holds rpm much better throughout the cut. It works great, reccomended for anyone that wants to bump up the power of their 2511
I bought my 2511t with 3/8LP chain. I can't even imagine what 3/8 chain is like. You can now order these saws with the Oregon Nano 0.325/0.043 chain and sprocket. I'm waiting for mine to show in the mail.
Got my pipe in two days from order. Perfect welds, perfect fit. This saw is actually quite psychotic for its size. It's fookin loud but you should be wearing ear protection anyway. I think for the quality, the pipe is easily worth the money, 28 percent more dyno'd hp. It's a lunatic of a little saw, I can't see porting it, or at least the one I got, ample for its build, instant snappy like an XP.
@@Super-Dave-Outdoors I believe it. I really thought I made a mistake and was going to be disappointed in the saw. I've used it in two climbs and a good clean up and I'm very pleased with it in all areas.
Yup, baddest thing around until you get into 30+cc territory. Only downfall is the low fluid capacities. I wish echo would scale it up and create a 35cc version.
That chain is so f****n grabby, the full chisel stihl ps63 is a way better chain, so much smoother in the cut. Change your bar and chain to 1/4” 043 and it transforms the saw too!
Bro your bar or chain is chattering like a mofo. No bueno. Swap out the chain or bar or possibly both. ND DONT TRY N SHARPEN THE CHAIN! Thinking ur gonna get it to cut faster. Your times will be faster and a better overall experience.
1/4 pitch bar, chain, and sprocket conversion are quite common for this saw. I bought the 12” stihl version for mine. Works much better than what was on it!
That is the brand new factory bar and chain. It chatters really bad when fresh but not nearly as bad in green wood or after a few sharpenings as long as you dont lower your depth gauges run them high around .015"
I like it! Thanks for the video Dave!
Need a new one with the WCS muffler. WCS muffler is much more pleasant to run.
The Jason Egan pipe made a huge difference!!! Well designed!

@@michaelturner7388 remove limiter caps and adjust.

Porting them after the pipe makes them really wicked!

Hey CF
Now do a BGD ...then port work 🤯
Coming up down the road, i have at least 3 people that want them done but i have to re-stock on burrs and 90° heads first

you like the Egan pipe the most right?

I believe it would make a hughe difference but the stihl dealers around here charge $2.25 per bar inch on chains
@@Super-Dave-Outdoors so 27 or 54 dollars?
