I've never been to Australia but it's probably a different type of heat. In England when it's hot, it's also so sticky it makes you feel as if you can't breathe - it's so clammy and muggy. When I went to Uganda it was SO much hotter than England but it didn't feel horrible, I loved being put in it! Probably makes no sense until you experience it :)

When it gets hot quite suddenly, your body is not used to the heat, that takes about a week. So stop complaining that Alfie called 29 degrees hot, it is, especially when it wasn't that hot last week.
