Some real creative energy went into making these beautiful station wagons and there were lots and lots of them on the road when I was a kid! We had 7 kids in our family and if my dad was in a good mood we would all pile in and go out to Dog and Suds for root beer float!
Beautiful Ford Wagon, the Galaxy was one of the nicest Designed cars in History. Dependable, Comfortable, and with the right motor a fast grocery getter ! Great job !
I agree, too many people spoil a car by trying to up-date something old with something new. If the car had mags with tyres in the 70's range, more sidewall, it would look so much better.
Why did they put the plastic fuel filter in line after the fuel pump where it's under pressure? Why not put it in line between the frame line and fuel pump!

Brings back memories of driving to Maine with my father. The kids rode in the back.....with the seats down. The better to play or take naps

I've never seen a forward facing third seat in a wagon. Mom's Buick wagons were all rear facing. Beautiful old Ford.
