I have been buying based on your recommendation over the past 6 months. I now have 1800 shares with a cost basis just under 11.00. If this thing ever kicks into gear, I will buy you a new mustache as a thank you
@ it was sheer luck. Picked some up a bit higher, and when the shares tanked at the end of the year I had some cash and scooped it up cheap. Sometimes timing works and sometimes you think you are getting a deal and then it drops 25% over the course of 5 days🤡 I just got really lucky this time 🤷♂️
I like this one. I put it on my watch list few months ago based on one of your videos. I fill my position in the first half of January. It's still in my "spec buy" part of the portfolio so the position is smaller in comparsion with SPG, ADC, O and others like that (not even talking about no-dividend part of portfolio) but yes, I think it's solid buy under 12. Thanks for the tip.
Gracias por tus aportes, Jussi. También estoy comprando Patria. Confío en lo que viene pasando y en tus análisis. Gracias por todo!!! Mantennos informados de lo que sepas cuando los visites en Brazil!😉
has a Brazilian citizen I wold not recommend buy any stocks on the moment. We have elected a leftist president called Lula. Brazilian Real last year was the worst coin of the world. Inflation is getting high and to preserve my investments I am migrating to US stock market. Also, supreme Court of Brazil is all leftist and communist. So there is a juridical insecure for investments here. This week they plan to freezing food prices to stop inflation...all that economic policy proved that is wrong. My opinion as a Brazilian is that Brazil is not a good investment in the moment. Maybe in final of 2025 or mid 2026 that will be a new election and maybe pro-market president be elected.
What! Freezing food prices, maybe you are a kid to believe this will happen, but when you think in investment is better buy in the worst moment than in the better moment. But I agree with you Brazilian coin is sucks.
I am DCA-ing into PAX, it is a small position, but I agree with your logic. I would also be really interested in other Latin America plays perhaps a quality REIT or stocks like NU or MELI?
@@askjussi I see them as FinTech play where NU and MELI are like PAX while PayPal and SoFi are like Blackstone. They have on the ground expertise and already have the market penetration. I also think the Latin American market is even more pro-mobile than the USA, they can really compete with brick and mortar banks.
I own shares in PAX and will be patient with that stock. I also see MPW (P/B 0.52) as a turnaround candidate in 2025. The sellers in MPW stock are out and the buyers are coming in. Long PAX and MPW.

$NVO one of the best balance sheets I have seen, along with high revenue growth and roic £YOU.L share price been hit hard again good balance sheet and revenue growth £SUPR Amazing dividends 9%+ yield in the supermarket sector. Insider buying at these levels and just expanded into France. All purchases I made this month!
Hi, Jussi: I have been tempted to buy PAX in the past. I can't get on board when I look at the long term chart. The stock has gone steadily down since going public. It has never had a period of sustained stock appreciation. Perhaps I am too conservative for this one, and it will turn around and reverse this trend. In the meantime, I'll stick with dividend growth and a history of price appreciation, like MAIN or ABBV.
A stock steadily going down, like MLPs between 2014 and 2020? Fundamentals improving, valuation multiples compressing, and investor sentiment getting lopsidedly bearish, is exactly what makes an investment attractive to me.
Hi Jussi. What do you think of PPET.L Patria Private Equity Trust, do you know what its exact relationship with PAX is? And what do you think its prospects are?

That's a great cost basis!

Thanks, Jussi, for an interesting presentation on PAX. I own BLX for another way to invest in Mexico, Central and South America.
Thanks for sharing!

Concordo plenamente!!
@flp572 boa. Tmj!
Macroeconomics trumps politics. PAX goes far beyond just Brazil. They have operated there for decades across many administrations

Another thing, when the author said Latin America was not only Brazil, Latin America there are other countries.

No strong opinions. What's the thesis for them?

PS I do find your VTMX (Vesta) call very interesting...

MPW is far riskier
@@askjussi God morning! I know that. That's why my allocation in MPW is very small.

That is precisely why it is so cheap today. Its cash flow has grown steadily.
Thanks Jussi but I just can't bring myself to risk enough money in Latin America to make it worthwhile.
I view as riskier to be too heavily exposed to any specific region. I value the diversification provided by Latin America.
It’s down 40% in last five years and you’re banking on this company out of the Cayman Islands?
so why is it down? can you explain?
That is precisely why it is so interesting today
Always interesting! Difficult analysis well expressed!! Latin America???? C'mon. this is a deep fake!!!
Haha
