sometimes a little press of the brakes gives the piston a dislodge to be able to push it back in

Nice video! I have a Super Tenere and I took the first ride of the year today, I realised that the rear brake pads are worn out, I could hear the sound, not metal scraping but a hissing sound . I will open up the brake caliper tomorrow and see how it looks. I could also see some minor scratches on the brake disc, is that a problem? or can it be polished in any way? I removed the tyre for a tyre change and left it hanging for some time, maybe the metal brackets are gone, I will see. But there has to be two of them, right? I hope they are not gone because I guess they have to be ordered. Again thx for the video, It seems easy to change and maintain it. I thought I had to leave it to a dealer.

You are missing a metal piece goes on top of brake pad before the piston goes in....
