portsmouth fans celebrated like this in 2005 when they lost their game to a relegation battling side because it meant that southampton got relegated instead
As a city fan , my love for Sunderland began in 1973 when they knocked us out of the cup en route to lifting the trophy against Leeds , great fans with great humour. Been to every game city played up in Sunderland and always great banter. And likewise when they played at Maine road and now the etihad. 👍

That is hilarious. As a City and football fan I would have done exactly the same. Always loved the fans from the North East - Proper passion and loyalty which cant be said for my Mancunican neighbours. Good Luck next season O'Neill is a great acquisition. PS Come on England!
by Thomas A true classic. I dont support either club, or Man City, but this was one of those great moments a season needs but seldom gets. Comparable to that wonderful look on Kenny Dalglish's face when Arsenal beat Liverpool at Anfield with the last minute goal in the final game of the season almost 25 years earlier!

Thank you for the "Poznan", it's really work for us to win our 20th title his year :) Remembering of memories at Anfield on 1992, it really work.. Thank you peeps :)
the poznan is a celebration started by Lech Poznan , a polish club. anytime they score a goal the fans back the field , put their hands on each other’s shoulders and jump and move from side to side.
you should see us after beating Newcastle ! not a derby in the world like ours an 8 feet concrete wall needed to protect their supporters, and never will you see a black and white shirt near our ground on their own !.
Can't help but feel embarrassed for Sunderland fans seeing this, their team just lost and they're celebrating like they won the title themselves. Anyway they're going down and it will be a pleasure to help them on their way by battering them this weekend.
I do concede you make a very good point. My point however is that unlike what some would like you to believe, OT isn't always "quiet" or devoid of atmosphere.
I'm a Leeds fan that was there cheering on Sunderland and City, was shitting myself throughout the game thinking them scummers were going to win the title again. Was brilliant to see their fans' smug faces wiped off.
Well Old Trafford has to stay on the cutting edge of technology...Given that it is one of the bigger stadiums in England, it is said to be difficult for one side to hear the other side.
Regardless of whether I was there or not, it still remains that not much was heard from your end. Not that it is something to boast about, at least for me, after all, "outsinging your opponents" accolades are usually reserved from smaller teams who cannot compete on the pitch. From goading United fans to meekly gifting United 6 pts. in their quest for yet another major honor...if not for Pool in the league, your club may well have been Circus of the Year.
you're kidding me right? we just got a crucial point after being down to 10 men and have a better goals difference worth 1 point. I feel more confident than before. On another note, did you lose to chelsea at home? I still have happy memories of man city kicking your ass last season. that will never leave :-) it will happen again next season. you watch ;-)
back in the summer when Britain had the Olympics and "all things British" were being highlighted and displayed in the opening and closing ceremonies, they should have showed this clip of the Sunderland fans doing the Poznan. Nothing better portrays the great British tradition of taking the piss than this.
