They behaved pathetic. Even though they lost they not only cheered but celebrated and danced for another club! Well since they're in the 3rd division still I'm sure many of those fickle fans now wear light blue shirts. How embarrassing

As a city fan , my love for Sunderland began in 1973 when they knocked us out of the cup en route to lifting the trophy against Leeds , great fans with great humour. Been to every game city played up in Sunderland and always great banter. And likewise when they played at Maine road and now the etihad. 👍

Everyone who doesn’t support United celebrated. Nobody can stand them and their plastic fanbase. None of them actually live in Manchester. The city itself is blue. Even QPR fans were celebrating once they knew they were safe, which was before the Aguero goal.
portsmouth fans celebrated like this in 2005 when they lost their game to a relegation battling side because it meant that southampton got relegated instead
Just finished watching the Netflix show and was all smiles throughout it just because of this moment. Warms my heart knowing they'll be in League One for some time to come

A true classic. I dont support either club, or Man City, but this was one of those great moments a season needs but seldom gets. Comparable to that wonderful look on Kenny Dalglish's face when Arsenal beat Liverpool at Anfield with the last minute goal in the final game of the season almost 25 years earlier!

the poznan is a celebration started by Lech Poznan , a polish club. anytime they score a goal the fans back the field , put their hands on each other’s shoulders and jump and move from side to side.
This season, when Sunderland go down, I will celebrate as hard as they did that day. And they will go down.

Regardless of whether I was there or not, it still remains that not much was heard from your end. Not that it is something to boast about, at least for me, after all, "outsinging your opponents" accolades are usually reserved from smaller teams who cannot compete on the pitch. The funny thing is that both SAF and our players have hailed our fantastic support over the years...maybe you would want to search for another source? Unfortunately for you I was, I remember us drowning you out before the game, when you went 1-0 it up it was quiet, when you were 2-0 up you were still quiet, when you were 3-0 up you were still quiet. When we pulled one back with 20mins to go I seem to remember it was pretty loud, and stayed that way for the remainder of the game as we tried to score again. Now, back in your shell you dirty Manc.
