I really feel like it will be the train. I think they add a station in wildwood grove and possibly another engine. In your interview with Eugene Naughton, he made reference to the train being one of the most popular rides at Dollywood. He also expressed concern about capacity if they added the show. Why not add capacity to this while at the same time make it a draw for wildwood grove and whatever new attraction is coming. Just seems to make a lot of sense with how much focus is and has been on Wildwood grove. Thoughts?
I herd blazing furry was down. Is it going to be available during opening weekend of the Christmas festival? Its one of the few rides on our list for the beginning of November.
Well that was pretty sneaky! I rode the new Fire in the Hole in Branson a few weeks ago, and it was just like Blazing Fury only that the people looked like people and not zombies (LOL). That is all Blazing Fury needs - people to look like people. That would be awesome to do all those changes to Tornado, it really needs to be smoother. Thanks for the video- very informative.
What an awesome video!! I loved all of your suggestions and why! I think it’s Blazing Fury largely bc of the recent SDC update of Fire in the Hole. Honestly I’d be excited for most of your suggestions except the water rides. I’m just not a water ride person😂
I love the legacy of the Blazing Fury was always my favorite as a child but was disappointed when I went as an adult that they had removed the water part of it.
I think these are all really good possibilities. There are some good reasons to refurbish all of them. I am waiting to see what they do with the fair part of the park.
Silver Dollar City didn’t just refurbish “Fire in the Hole”, they built an entirely new version of it in another show building while the old one continued to operate. That way there was no down time.
I'm going to have to think more about the rides there. There are so many that could use some love. Daredevil Falls wouldn't surprise me with all the similar style rides being updated at Disney parks. However the train could use something to spice it up a little. The video you did with Eugene makes me think that's not going to happen though. The Blazing Fury could use some updating as well however it's such a staple in all weather that I don't think that will happen either. 🤔
Maybe the Rampage will get some love. One of my favorite things to do is to take a pocket full of quarters to feed the water jet machines that squirt the riders. Hey, I'm easily amused. If Daredevil Falls has low ridership might they take it out and replace it with a mountain coaster? Every ant hill in the Pigeon Forge area has a mountain coaster now. The train has high ridership as is so I don't see them doing anything there. I don't think they would retrack the Tornado if it is okay as is and messing with a coaster introduces risk, not so much safety risk but risk that the ride will not break down. Blazing Fury, it sure could use some work. Updates with animatronics and lighting could make that a better experience. I ride it most every time I'm in the park, in part because there usually isn't a long wait. Thanks for the video. Question, does Dollywood threaten influencers with double secret probation if they say "Rebel Railroad"? lol
Ahhhhh! Come on! Tell us what you think! haha I personally think the Tennessee Tornado is going to get re-tracked by Premiere like Loch Ness did. I also think they will add themeing elements to it and enhance the ride. Blazing Fury got some new track from RMC not too long ago, along with some other minor upgrades, and Dare Devil Falls doesn't really need a refurb. The River Rampage I could see getting some attention, what they built at SDC is amazing, but not sure they could change RR that much.
I'm thinking a ride like the Rampage or Daredevil falls. They are closed during the winter months so refurbishing a seasonal ride if starting during the cooler weather would be easier for the park.
Didn't they retrack Blazing Fury a couple years ago. So I don't thank it will be blazing fury they also retracted thunderhead to so it couldn't be that one eather. I first thought it might be Firechaser I know it's not 25 years old cause it was added in 2014 and as a family coaster it does come after blazing fury and it is the nation's first dual launch family coaster so I thought it would fall in the category of a legacy family coaster and that coaster is a little bit of a rough ride.
I think the raft ride needs it most. Hopefully that’s the one they choose. They could do a lot to make it a more interesting ride. And hopefully a little less… wet lol. Bc it’s an absolute drencher in a bad way.
I would like to see the Rampage get some love. I miss the mist that used to be near the end!!
Honestly new trains with lap bars on Mystery Mine and Tennessee Tornado would be cool.

I thought about this as well after watching the other video and would love it if they introduced another train and station in Wildwood Grove.
I would like the train to get a little something added to the ride! Nothing crazy like a show but some decor or something to look at.
I don't know how I missed this video and I'm just now getting to it!
I herd blazing furry was down. Is it going to be available during opening weekend of the Christmas festival? Its one of the few rides on our list for the beginning of November.
It is down, not sure for how long unfortunately
Blazing Fury was closed when we visited on October 18 & 19.
River rampage is my favorite ride. Would love to see some added theming there, But i think it will be blazing fury as well.
The Tennessee Tornado could use some love. Maybe it will help people see it better! It blends in weird in that back corner.
I agree! I really thought it was going to be this one… but it might be up the river.

BF is definitely the one ride most people say it will be. But, I think it’s something else.
I love the legacy of the Blazing Fury was always my favorite as a child but was disappointed when I went as an adult that they had removed the water part of it.
I loved Dollywood I want to go back!
Well come on!
I'm staying with my bet that it'll be Blazing fury.
I think these are all really good possibilities. There are some good reasons to refurbish all of them. I am waiting to see what they do with the fair part of the park.
2028.
I believe its Rockin Roadway in the 50s area. It actually needs a refurbishment.
Good call! It might be, I didn’t think of that.
I really hope they don't close Blazing Fury for refurbishment until they have added other rides that can still operate in bad weather.
OMG, after the success of the new Fire in the Hole, it only makes sense for a new Blazing Fury.
Silver Dollar City didn’t just refurbish “Fire in the Hole”, they built an entirely new version of it in another show building while the old one continued to operate. That way there was no down time.
I didn't realize it was a whole new building! Good to know.
I think it may be the Blazing Fury Because they refurbished a ride just like it Called Fire in the Hole at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO.
👍 those are all good rides to think about.

I think it’s either blazing fury or Tennessee tornado

my top votes are Blazing Fury, the train and Daredevil Falls.
I’d almost guarantee it’s one of these…

Have you asked Dollywood about the area that is closed off near mystery mine. I’m wondering if it is just another plaza area or something else
It’s going to be a new restaurant.
Looks fun!
I feel like the train. Cause it smokes and ashes too much. I have got ashes before !
Maybe. I don’t think it’s the train but it could be
Blazing Fury!
I hope they bring the water spraying at you back to the Blazing Fury!!
Likely Blazing Fury since SDC redid Fire in the Hole, and it's the same company.
That’s the guess from everyone else as well.

"Weak back or not Luther, here I come "
That’s what my shirt says lol
I have the shirt. The ride workers love it too
Blazing fury. Like they did with fire in the hole at Silver doller city.
Could be! That seems to be the one everyone is going with. I don’t think it is though.
If I was there I would probably ride all train all day if I wanted to!
I really hope its river rampage. I like the new raft ride at silver dollar city and wouldn't mind if something similar was done here.
Blazing fury has been closed most of the week this week.... maybe thats a sign?
Probably Blazing Fury like Silver dollar City in Branson did
I think the raft ride needs it most. Hopefully that’s the one they choose. They could do a lot to make it a more interesting ride. And hopefully a little less… wet lol. Bc it’s an absolute drencher in a bad way.
River rampage or daredevil falls?
@@JonnyAmusement river
I really hope it's blazing fury I loved it when it had the bridge but it's boring
It's got to be busy bees
The Dollywood Express was the most boring dumb thing ever. At least put a pretty garden in the top loop. It was extremely disappointing.
For what it’s worth, during Christmas they do have a lot of lights in that area.
