Ya. Was there for the placing boom setup. Got up to level 7 or 8 plugging in with the boom pump. Was just about to start the process of setting up slick line when I moved on.
On jobs like that I hate it when guys get the hoses covered in concrete and then you have to try and get them out of the building without getting all the finished stuff covered.
Kind of scary you have to have enough men that know what to do if anything goes wrong, also have to have staff for when all goes well. Nice Job you guys earn your money. Ray Stormont
Usually on. A job like this we’ll have the operator + 2 line hands. I was just hanging out for moral support on this way. So true though Ray, having an extra body or two on a job like this is well worth the additional cost, especially when things are going “less than perfect”.
I’m not sure what exactly was the story here (but I’m sure it’s a good one). To my knowledge, these were the only floors which required it (but don’t quote me on that).
@@JeffGriffin-z6x Lol! That’s awesome!!!’ I thought socks only came into play for those times when we find out too late that the Jiffy-John is out of TP 😂😂😂
Hey Scott what happened to the video that you guys were making of who had the cleanest Hopper I ain't seen that result yet so we can judge on who had to clean his Hopper
I think we need to re-visit the topic in a long-format video, or possibly an upcoming livestream . The short version did not quite generate the conclusive results we had hoped for.
I have a few older videos in which we did walk arounds of each machine individually. I should get around to doing a full yard tour one of these days. Will definitely put that one on my list 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
You should try putting some Wet Newspaper into the Hose if you are going Downhill don't make it as Tight as you whould if blowing out keep it a bit loose and put a little bit of water ahead of it. I have done this lots of times over the years here in Dublin IRELAND and we use 4 inch Line until the pour area and then we use 3 inch because our Mix's where so Bad with all the crushed rock but they have gotten a lot better since they changed the SAND they where using I even think that we chould use 2.5 Inch because the different Sand they are using now
So I’ve tried a few different methods and I feel like with the small line we use, putting anything in front of the hose just hasn’t worked in our favour. That being said, I’m 100% going to try your recondition in a future video and we’ll see how it goes. As you can see from the results here (or lack thereof), we don’t have much to lose 😂

Hard to believe that was more than 2 years ago now. Time flies by in this business.
@canadianconcretepumper1979 in a few months it will be 4 years
Nice work Scott and crew !

Why did they not put the floor to the right elevation when they build the building?

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve put my socks in a bag and blown them threw 2 inch hose lol

Happy Father's Day 💙
You too Dann!
Our first placing boom job is in 4/5 months! 14 floor baby tower on a tight site.
I need those amber outrigger lights
They work great, and super simple as well. This pump came equipped with them new from Putzmeister America.
What kind of mix is that you’re pumping exactly??
32 mpa with 1/2” stone. My video this coming Saturday we use the same mix and I “dissect” it s for the camera 😁
Happy mother's day
how many operators does one pump need😉😅
One operator for each section of boom 😁😁😁
Hey Scott ☝️☝️☝️
😮
The E V building
What happened to the stair video
The that was a slight glitch in the programming (stay tuned for that one next Saturday).
Can’t wait mate
