For me, pro and noob is depending on what they're heard (and enjoy with it), instead of how many instruments that you put on. If you put less instruments correctly and sounds better, why not.

(go make drum and bass at lets say 100bpm.. or house at 210bpm) rules are there. Now if someone knows the rules and s/he is really good, can break some of them to make something interesting..

This video is over simplifying the production process.
It's true. The track sounds boring but the life to tracks comes from envelope modulations, ambience, mixing, fills, breaks and such. Also a good producer knows how to give a track energy and presence. I could make a video like this but it would be hours long. You can dedicate a days to perfecting synths, pads and drums, and even after that you use probably at least a week for the mixing. And even then you wait a few days and listen if it still bangs (usually not) and then you make a second version of the drop and so forth.
Miko Henriksson do it, make a video and take your time, I wouldn’t mind seeing ur work style and taking some notes on it.

@@olegian3150 It's pretty time intensive so I'll skip. If you're just starting out I recommend getting to know your DAW inside out. Also samplepacks that suit your style will really help nailing the drums. Kick2 is a great plugin for every genre to get a punching kick. Dedicate some days only for making presets so you can apply them quickly if needed. Learning about the ebb and flow and energy of the track is crucial, and after your got those down you can do it in practice. After that it's just optimizing your workflow, like making default effect racks and tracks, knowing hotkeys and such. Mixing and mastering are another matter but it's pretty much eq -> compress -> limit for every track and then for master track. Also learn to use compressor busses on everything and effect busses to get your sounds stand out.
I think that everyone has their own style of making music. There are people who barely know how to use these programs, and there are others who have more experience in this.
It is not defined between nob and pro, it is the ease with which you adapt to creating new things, in this case, electronic music well fucking mamalona
