I have this car for 2 years, but i got 90 kWh battery semi solid state here in Croatia. In Norway its just 80 kWH. I see its updated with speedapp for android auto. Main issue of this car is weight. 2300 kg. For DC charge speed you will get 100 kw at low percemtage, but it need around 30 min to 80%. With 80 kWh its lfp battery and real range is around 300-400 km. With 90 kWh around 350-450. In city it goes from 14 to 19 kWh/100 km..while in highway its around 22-25. In last 10000 km my avg is 19.8. Its also have app for usage. Interior quallity is good, much nicer then many other cars, , lights also, brake are fuzzy for 585 hp in 4wd version. Bluetooth is crap like sound as well so i modify everything and crack screen with israel fans to open full potencial. Radio app is also not so good. Also soon in europe this brand will be named Aito and redesigned model coming callled m5. Seres name will not be more in use. Also this older version will be called sf (sakker falcon). Its the cars from video which you make.
I've test driven one of these in Romania. It was well built, comfy seats (had the brown ones which I think they're the premium version). A major disadvantage for me was the weird thing hanging of the back of the car, messing the ground clearance, which I care about. The brand is linked to Huawei btw. I think the software for EU might be limited/hacky because of that. Seemed decent, up until heard about no Android Auto support, but instead screen mirroring via one of their apps. No thank you. Maybe they've changed in the meantime, it was a while ago. The driving experience was good too.
Honestly the design inside an outside look pretty good. I would consider this car. If the software isn't shit and car maintenance is guaranteed in Europe.
I'm surprised this car actually looks really good visually. In the interior there was clearly a lot of inspiration from Tesla - material and color choice, the overall layout, even stiching is similar. In this case it isn't bad, but well it's nothing extraordinary. What I'm worried about though is the software, which already looks fairly bad, as most chinese cars so far lack a lot in this aspect. I've noticed software is greatly overlooked by many car reviewers, however especially in electric cars with so few physical buttons and basically no phone support it's incredibly important that the software is good. I'm also not a fan of the open cooperation with Huawei which provided the software, making it very Huawei compatible but without android auto and carplay support. There are many reasons to dislike Huawei and the partial US and EU ban just goes to show that it's warranted.
Wrong again. Charge port on the left side is an unconsidered choice. Curb charging is key to enable bevs for people that park in the Street. And no a long cable sticking out in the Street is not a good solution. Your reasoning ignors this. Don't understand why.
Huawei has not made any car. What you're referring to is Aito M5 which is made by a subsidiary of the Seres Group. Huawei has only openly collaborated with Seres for a short time. One of it's largest contributions was the software, which is why it has no android auto or carplay support, but supposedly works great with Huawei's... 😑 With that out of the way, this is not the Aito M5 anyway. It's an entirely different car with completely different spec. Even the brand is technically different, because it's by an American subsidiary instead of the Chinese one.
Love how Bjørn just strolls into the booth, crawls on the floor and starts rubbing the cars undercarriage (giggity)

Yes Björn, test it. Much more intresting than known brands/models. What are the specs of this car? Accu capacity, chargingspeed , claimed range, etc.?
Honestly the design inside an outside look pretty good. I would consider this car. If the software isn't shit and car maintenance is guaranteed in Europe.
Software of the China version is excellent with Huawei Harmony OS. However I think they use a different software for Europe.
Please test it. Seems premium inside, want to know if driving comfort is premium too. If so, the low price makes it interesting.
Test it Bjørn, squize it in the kalender 👍👍
Hi Björn Thanks for good information. You forgot to tell us about the towing capacity?
Looks Nice 👍
You should close the washer fluid cap with your right hand which is the right hand, not the left hand which is the wrong hand.
Come on test it👍👍
squeese in the Seres in this series.
Yes Please
This is the EU Huawei/Aito M5. The OS seems to be slightly different from Chinese Aito M5
Very interesting car, i actually want to buy one, it is replaced by the m5 in israel. It is not the case in Europe?
Seres is American company according to Wiki, strange
❤❤❤

Yes, bring as many Chinese cars as you can, I find them much more interesting than the boring stuff that comes from the EU/US/Japan!
In Czech "Sereš" means "You are shitting"

Rebranded Huawei M5
