My Grandpa is actually the builder of the double decker pool. He loved concrete. He built pools & multilevel parking lots. He was based out of Texas. I have some footage of the site during construction.
You can get to the towers from the service corridor. They are dangerous though. I used to get high up there way back in the nineties and they were a mess back then even. Also, don't get caught:) PS. the tires on the roof are to keep old stucco from crashing down through the roof. The hotel is ancient and it is falling apart in places. (Like the Towers) I hear they are doing a big remodel. Hope to see that soon.:)
Thanks for the info. I ended up talking to a maintenance man who is actually the only person allowed on the towers. He changes the light bulbs up there. He tried to scare me telling me there are pigeons up there. I still wanted to go. He didn't take me up. It would sure be cool to see.
@@AngelasLifeAdventures Well allowed or no, I have been, but like I said, it's dangerous. When I was younger it was fun. You could not pay me enough now:)
