Those Type's of slanted trains were originaly on the F line from the late 60's to about the mid 70's and then the A line had them, i believe almost all the lines had them at one point..
at one point the A line wasn't using them i'm surprised to see them back, but some of them need to be retired for good if look at the roof on some of them it look like they are starting to rust badly the last time i saw them on the A line was in the 80"s
Man, I miss riding these trains. They were truly such unique subway trains to ride. Was only 11 when they retired in 2009.
I remember riding these everyday to school on the B line
