I was watching a dancer who was watching their Oddeye dance practice and he talked about how they don’t often just walk to their new positions. There’s movement within the choreography that gets them to where they need to be. Others groups that do this are like Seventeen and NCT, both boy groups. Ppl might see them play this and think “they don’t know their choreography very well” but it’s not the case. To move to where they are in that moment of the choreo in seconds is just chaos add in they are a bit chaotic lol and you get: random players dance DC style.

that is EXACTLY what i love about their choreo! too many dances have people just using up so much time awkwardly walking into position, i don’t find it flattering (?) or eye catching at all, it really cuts the flow imo
@@chungomungo401 I think we see it a lot on gg choreography. I love Twice especially their new content but they do have a habit of the March walk to positions. BUT I will say they also use really clever ways to get into new formations as well so sometimes it leaves me asking “why do we have the odd moments?” But bg don’t often walk into place so I think the gg that emulate that style really try to make their choreography engaging. And honestly I think more groups are trying to use that model. WEKI MEKI!!!! They do it too.
Its understandable that DC is a mess cuz their choreography is sooo difficult 🤣 and its confusing af 😂
SuA's energy is unmatched and they did well even if it was hella chaotic 😂 considering how complex their choreos are
