I have never been a particularly big fan of Grammer's music but I'll tell you, this dude is the real deal as a human being. And at least, as a musician, he is not a trend follower...he does his own thing. I appreciate that and will certainly support the guy in whatever way I can.

    • @sarcasmxkate

He doesn't seem to have been a POS and I'd say most men aren't, but it is annoying that it takes men having a daughter of their own to figure out how to treat women. What's worse though is men that have daughters and still don't know how to treat women like human beings (cough, T.I., cough).

Lots of people say women can't do things, except now it's mostly behind closed doors because it is no longer (in general) culturally acceptable. It is important for men to advocate for women because in many situations and spaces a man's voice will be heard and listened to over a woman's, so a man may be more successful in creating a space for a woman to be heard than she could on her own. It's strange to me that women being able to apply for the Army seems to be the be all and end all of women's rights in your eyes, there are still many imbalances and inequalities. People should help each other, that's all we're asking for. Just to help us when you're able.

@@christopherolvera2264 it's not as simple as that. women are used to being said "no" to by men. the majority of all industries is dominated by men, especially the music industry. when someone has been said "no" to all her life, what makes another think that it is so easy for her to speak up and ask for something?

You are right, it is important for women to speak up. But please don't be so naive as to think that all the abuse women have suffered from all these years has been because we have been silent. We have had to fight for rights that men have had handed to them. So instead of trying to blame women for the way men have treated them, try being a real man and be better. Be the kind of man a woman can be proud of because right now, I'm just embarrassed for you.
